My nephew concurs: “McDavid is just a Stanley Cup away from being the next GOAT.”
It was a treat for me to read this book with my nephew. I’ve been hearing him repeat Connor McDavid stats for the past few years, so when an opportunity came to read and review this book together, I jumped at the chance.
The author backs up the quote given in the first page with many reasons why this statement was made. My nephew and I both think the following reason is the top one: For the 2023-2024 season, McDavid became the fourth player ever to get 100 assists in a single season. McDavid shares this title with Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr and Mario Lemieux.
Thoughtfully designed with young readers in mind and websites to take those who wish to know more a little further, this book is a must-have for all the hockey-crazed little people in your life.
I was gifted this copy by Rosen Publishing Group and NetGalley and was under no obligation to provide a review.
