As a child, Desautels often had dreams that seemed significant, but he couldn’t understand them. It wasn’t until he joined an Edgar Cayce study group as an adult that he began to tap into the potential held within his inner self.

Unfortunately, things got worse before they got better—and before he understood his dreams.

Desautels lost his new job and found himself back in his old job, depressed and directionless. Turning in earnest to his dreams and meditation for guidance, he began to see a way forward.

Desautels came to experience first-hand Cayce’s claim that every significant event in one’s life is foreshadowed in a dream. Also, he learned that prophetic dreams don’t always allow you to change the future, but when change isn’t possible, they can help you prepare yourself for living through a hard experience with strength and courage.
