With so many diet books on the market, and many new ones that are always claiming to have the latest information on healthy living, I appreciate that there some that educate us about healthy living in other cultures.

Like many other diets, this book does have an initial detox period of 5 days; however, it isn't all liquids. Oatmeal, quinoa and beans are some of the solid foods that can be added.

There are plenty of meal plans and recipes. Some of the foods may be difficult to find in some areas. I can't find all of them where I live, but there plenty of suggestions, so hopefully everyone can find a way to make this work.
