An action-packed time-travel romance perfect for fans of Outlander and Powerless

Ana is spending her last summer before college on a group trip outside Hamburg, Germany, visiting castles, drinking in the local myths of medieval saints, and trying not to think about her recent breakup. One night, she and her fellow international students decide to join a party in the sacred caves of Eadin forest. But suddenly, the ground shakes, and the caves begin to collapse. The partygoers are forced to flee outside . . . straight into a raging battle in an unfamiliar snowy landscape. 

When Ana is separated from the group and collides with a wounded young warrior, she realizes she’s been transported to the 14th century. Though Ana and Leon instantly mistrust each other, they soon realize they need to band together to escape the vicious Northmen in pursuit of both groups. Sparks begin to fly between them, but Ana, exhibiting her 21st century garb and wit, confronts even more danger in the form of scheming lords, suspicious townsfolk, and miracles she appears to be causing. Nothing is as it seems, and Ana finds herself an unwilling bargaining chip in an ancient conflict. 

With home looking ever more unreachable, Ana must determine who she is, whom she loves, and what she’s willing to sacrifice to return to the present.
