this was honestly adorable!!! it was sweet and simple and just charming. THE COVER IS ALSO LOVELY. THEY ARE SO CUTE.

Delphine was such a strong FMC and Haven was an adorably protective alien MMC. while the first few chapters were a bit odd to me, i still found myself completely intrigued and wanting to finish.

these two were adorable and i loved seeing them finally have their moment after so many years of being dream friends or to delphine she assumed "imaginary", little did she know....i thoroughly enjoyed watching these two find their happy ending even if there was a bit of a journey along the way, the easy acceptance between them was beautiful and natural.

i will say i kind of wanted some of the people and her PARENTS who were mean to her get a tad bit more of a comeuppance, Delphine deserved that, but in the end she became princess and i guess in the end that was the true justice. she was surviving for so long that she ended up realizing who she was finally when Haven showed her she didn't need to feel the need to be in a constant state of survival, haven was right about that part.

the cats being a way between worlds, i adored (even tho i am truly not a cat person....and totally relatable to the human era who lost the dogs and were sad after it)

thoroughly hoping we get a story about Fate and Daryl and Jalen and Greer, HERE FOR IT. GIMME MORE RACHEL. and the king finding new love? i LOVE that, he deserved it.

this book made me smile and giggle and i enjoyed that immensely fully felt good vibes the entirety of their story.
