Recipes I am sure will end up in front of the family dog princess.
Love this book! There are some great recipes in here, and I know my puppies are going to love them all. I've already made the Apple Treats and my pups just gobbled them up. I can't wait to try the rest! There was only one I wasn't fond of, the Bacon!Bacon!Bacon!. Personally I wouldn't give my dog bacon drippings. But, that's just a personal preference.
This book is perfect for dog lovers out there. As pet owners we always want the best for our pets and sometimes normal dog treats are full of ingredients that might not actually be all that great. Going into this I didn't think that the recipes would be as simple as they actually are and most if not all are made with ingredients that everyone has around their house at one time or another. Also I like how not all of the recipes are made with peanut butter as some people are allergic and that none use meat but rather a chicken broth or beef broth as some people are vegetarian that ingredient can always be substituted for a different broth or ingredient. I definitely am thinking about trying some of these out for my dog sometime because a lot of them are so simple to make that it won't take you that long if you have a busy day planned but still want to get some dog treat baking in. I also really loved the photos of the couple dogs interspersed throughout the book as they were really cute photographs. Definitely a must for dog lovers plus proceeds of the sales go to rescue dog organizations which I also liked.

This is a brief book of only 56 pages. There is no introduction, no text aside from the recipes, but some adorable photos of dogs and treats.
The recipes are very simple to follow. Some are super easy, like "No Bake Treats", which only has three easy-to-find ingredients and no baking required. Some may be more complicated, like the "Celebration Cake" for special canine celebrations, and some may have harder-to-find ingredients, like rice flour.
I made the No Bake Treats, which are just peanut butter, milk (I used almond milk) and oats. The pups love them!
This is a good book for simple homemade dog treats. Nothing fancy and wholesome ingredients (a must in our household!).
