Marketing Plan

Fran is planning a Whistle Stop book and speaking tour, Spring 2015. She has speaking engagements lined up at flower and garden shows in Philadelphia, Nashville, Chicago, San Francisco, Austin, and New York City. She’ll also be creating events at retail stores in each of those cities. Beyond a simple book signing or talk, Fran plans on using her strengths as an inspirational speaker and experiential/interactive workshop leader to create exciting events that will pull the crowds in if appropriately advertised through mailings and the media.

A media veteran (appearances on NBCs Weekend Today Show, CNN, MSNBC, Lifetime, HGTV, DIY, and Discovery; writing extensively for USA Weekend Magazine, Radius Magazine, and iVillage; celebrating her tenth year as a CBS Radio News correspondent) Fran will be using TV and radio appearances to get the message out about Digging Deep and her Whistle Stop speaking tour. She’s booked to appear on a nationally syndicated PBS television show and will be appearing on morning TV shows and radio in every city she visits.

Fran’s focus for 2015 will be speaking at events where she can talk about the importance of gardening and connecting with nature as tools for well-being.

It is just lovely in how it presents our immersion in creativity through gardening and explains how nurturing our garden can be to our life. I found it very deeply moving. Well done.
