While this meant little to me here in the UK, the series of interviews would make riveting reading for those interested in the history of US media, or who grew up knowing something of the names mentioned herein. It's a fairly speedy read, being mostly interview transcript, but what little the author has to put in by way of introductions, details, and pocket biographies, is all fine. Like I say, it won't travel much beyond its niche market – but it won't leave the shelves once bought – this would be a keeper.
