Description
Below-the-belt, no-holds-barred attraction…
Amateur MMA fighter, Marcy Foster is determined to win the state championship. But dark secrets and a broken trust mean there’s one submission she just can’t master. Fortunately Club Excelsior has hired a coach who knows all the right moves.
Sexy, confident and commanding, fight consultant Jax demands control, both in and out of the ring. But once he has Marcy against the ropes, Jax knows he’s in too deep. He has the dominance to give her what she needs, but once he unleashes her hidden passions, there’s no going back.
Under Jax’s skilled hands, Marcy submits to her deepest desires. But when her personal and professional worlds collide, she is forced to face a brutal truth–yielding to her darkest needs may be the one thing that costs her the fight…and her heart.
Advance Praise
I love how both of the characters had guilt complexes that it will take both of them together to fix one another. Also, there are some steamy bedroom scenes not too much, and not too little. This book did not disappoint. I really don't think this is the last we will read about Marcy and Jax, there are still unanswered questions about their life before they both met, I think there is more to come. This is a short read and the first book of the Club Excelsior series. I'm really hoping to read more from this author. I recommend you make this book your next read.—Kimberly for Summer’s Book Blog

“Mount.” Jax beckoned her forward, his voice curiously husky, and for a moment she wondered if his touching exercise had affected him as much as her.
Marcy crawled up his body and then sat astride his abdomen in Full Mount. God, his stomach was rock hard. Just like the rest of him.
Jax’s body stiffened beneath her. “Christ, Marcy. Are you trying to kill me?”
Puzzled, she shrugged. “I thought you wanted me like this.”
“I do. No. Hell. I mean…to practice the submission, you need to be in High Mount.”
Understanding dawned and she tried and failed to repress a smile. “Am
I mounted too low for you, Jax?” She was sorely tempted to give a
little wiggle because she could feel something hard pressing into her
ass and she was desperate to know if he was wearing a cup. In all her
years of training she’d never affected a guy this way and she
had to bite back a laugh.
His eyes blazed with liquid heat and his voice dropped to a husky bark, “Move up.”
Marcy eased herself up, her thighs parting wider as she positioned herself high on his chest, her knees under his armpits. “High Mount is easier with female fighters. Your chest is so broad…”
He cut her off with a low growl. When she glanced down to see what she’d done to irritate him this time, she was caught in the blistering heat of his gaze.
“I’m on to you, little fighter.” His eyes glinted, amused. “Don’t think for a minute you’ll distract me from doing what I came here to do.”
A smile curled her lips. All week she’d had to listen to the fighters at the gym talking about the aura of mystique surrounding Jax and his “fighter whisperer” ways. And yet his visible discomfort at her position on top of him made him seem all too human. All too male. “Wouldn’t dream of it.”
He raised an eyebrow and exhaled through gritted teeth. “How about we try for Mid Guard?” The warmth of his breath caressed her inner thighs and heat flooded her veins. How unprofessional. She’d practiced this position countless times with other fighters in the club. Not once had she ever wanted to tear off their clothes and…
“Actually, probably better if we move to Full Guard.” Jax bucked suddenly, throwing Marcy forward and onto her hands and knees, a standard defense to High Guard, but one that put her breasts within an inch of his lips.
Her nipples tightened and she quickly rolled to her back to hide her body’s response.
Jax moved into position on top of her, taking his weight on his elbows, his legs tucked between hers. So hot. So heavy. So masculine.
Dominant. Controlling.
Arousal coursed through her veins and she tried to think of anything but the erotic weight on top of her.
Coach. Training. Professional. But her body, now a live wire, wasn’t on board.
“How do you want me?” Her breathy voice shaded into a whisper.

His hair invited touching...and pulling Woo Hoo! I'm so excited about this new series. I fell hard for the Redemption Series, it was my introduction to Sarah Castille, and I'm hooked. I can't get enough of those sweaty, muscled, tough, bada$$ fighters that turn into teddy bears when their hearts are involved. I can't get enough of the author's ability to make me laugh out loud at the witty banter and humorous situations the characters find themselves in. I can't get enough of the colorful characters that I feel a connection with, making me feel like I am part of their "family", as they love and support and tease each other. I really enjoyed getting to know Marcy better in this book. She's still bada$$, but she has a sexy feminine side too. She's hot in and out of the ring and the chemistry between her and Jax was ringing my bell. Val had me giggle snorting at her antics and I can't wait for her to find a strong man to handle her sass. I have my heart set on Two-Step, I can't wait to read his story. The way he calls Marcy, baby girl made me melt. I can only imagine how he would be with "the one". Please keep them coming Sarah Castille, we need more!
Review for Yield to Me by Sarah Castille
Yield to Me is a Club Excelsior Novella by Sarah Castille it’s an MMA fighter romance. One of the best parts about this book? The fighter is a woman! Talk about a switch from the typical bad boy fighter type being the main attraction in the ring/cage. Considering this is a novella length story I never felt like it wasn’t a complete book, for me that’s rare. Novella’s typically leave me wanting for more, but in the case of Yield to Me it was perfectly done.
Marcy is a fighter. She is stubborn and has something to prove, which makes her determined to win. There is nothing she wouldn’t do in order to become the best female in the MMA … except accept the help from Jax the new trainer hired to get her ready for the upcoming fight.
Jax is a retired MMA fighter, a psychologist, and he trains fighters to help them be their best. He was brought to Club Excelsior to help Marcy get over her fear of submission, but the stubborn little spitfire refuses him.
Marcy and Jax have instant chemistry and something inside of Marcy craves everything Jax can offer. Will she let down her guard long enough to see what is right in front of her? Can Jax help Marcy accept who she really is and save her fighting career?
I absolutely love fighter books and this is no exception. I can’t wait to read more in the series. Yield to Me is a FOUR star read with FOUR drenched panties!
“Open for me and take it all until there isn’t an inch of your p I haven’t touched. I want you, Marcy. I want you to be utterly and completely mine.”
Review by Miranda at Mommy’s a Book Whore.
Fantastically written Novella. I would definitely recommend this Novella. Marcy is a fighter who is 4 wins in 4 fights. She is having difficulty with her submission technique while engaging other fighters. Jax is brought in to help coach other fighters especially Marcy.
The attraction between these two is immediate and explosive. This is a fast paced exciting story. Hopefully more Novellas will be written soon.
I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my hones review
I loved this book big time. Sarah Castille did a great job describing the moves and catching the lifestyle of an MMA fighter. The story line in this book is great, I cant wait to read the next book.
This book was hot and sexy and everything you would want in a fighter romance novel only downside is that it does have a cliffhanger ending..but don't be sad you do get more than information that it leaves you wanting more and excited for Marcy rather than feeling like you are missing out on information.
I just started doing Jiu Jitsu and have a problem with panicking when its time to submit but poor Marcy has the opposite problem..
What's a girl to do when she would love to submit and loves the feeling of a losing control! Jax is hired by the gym to help the fighters win the State Championship but he cant seem to keep himself in coach mode when he sees Marcy.
What is a Coach to do when he would love nothing more than to dominate Marcy in more ways then one and Marcy would like nothing more than to submit.
This review pertains to Yield to Me, by Sarah Castille. Book #1 in the Club Excelsior series. Thank you to Barclay Publicity and Netgalley for the chance to read and review. This was a quick sexy fantastic read. I recently discovered Sarah Castille and her sexy alpha MMA fighters, and I can't get enough. I loved Marcy and Jax and my only complaint was the novella length. I wanted more! Looking forward to more in the series, highly recommended!
Yield to me was actually my very first Sarah Castille book and WOW was it hot and sexy. I am a sucker for a fighter book and Sarah did a great take on this with the heroine in the story being the fighter.
Jax is a sexy dominant alpha of a man and as it turns out Marcy's new coach who knows how to push all her buttons (even those she doesn't want to admit to wanting pushed.)
Marcy is a strong fighter but yearns to hand over some of the control and strength in the bedroom that she yields in the ring. When an ex she thought she could trust ruined that by making her ashamed of what she enjoys she decided to push all those thoughts aside and focus on becoming the best fighter she can be.
All Jax wants to do when he arrives at the gym is to teach Marcy how to submit when necessary when fighting but it doesn't take but a few touches between the two for him to see how much he wants her to submit elsewhere too.
This short read was super steamy and very well written. The characters grabbed me and got me all kinds of excited. I do wish there was more to it but for a first taste at a new series I can honestly say I am super excited to see how the secondary characters in this story develop in their own books.
Yield to Me is one hot round in the MMA ring. Amateur MMA fighter Marcy is about to enter the state championship ring and her trainer Reid thinks she needs more than just help. Her submission needs work in more than one way so Reid calls in a specialist, Jax, to help her in and out of the ring. Marcy has been denying her skills as a submissive both in and out of the ring and her heated attraction to her new trainer Jax makes things worse. Marcy needs to decide what she wants before the bell rings. This story is sexy and sinfully hot that any MMA fighter romance fan is sure to love!
Love, Love, Love Sarah Castile's amazing way with words. Rough Justice rocked my world, and once again she managed the same with the newest book in a brand new series, Yield to me. I can't get enough of her unique stories, and I am on the edge of my seat waiting for more!!!
I have to admit I loved the concept of her fighting her submission. I know the feeling and it was well developed and handled. A solid and intense story!
Great New Series!
This is a great start to a new series; this is the first book in the Club Excelsior series by Sarah Castille. I love this author’s books and this one was just as good as her others. Marcy is an amateur MMA fighter who is determined to win the state championship. Jax is a fight consultant who is working at Club Excelsior. He demands and is always in control that is until he gets Marcy against the ropes. He can’t keep his hands off of her. Once I started reading this book, I didn’t want to put it down until I was finished. This book is hot! I can’t wait until I can read the next books in this series. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
