If that isn’t bad enough, a stranger is following her. She doesn't know who he is or what he wants, yet he knows all about her abilities and that she’s developing more. And . . . he’s her only hope of understanding why she’s changing and others are after her. What she learns will send her life into overdrive.

I really really enjoyed this book. From the first page to the last, I was involved in the story. It wasn't the best story I had ever read, but I really enjoyed the plot, character development and action, until I got to the last 10-15% of the story. The ending of the story to build into the next book was my least favorite part. I didn't like the "middle of the road" ending to go into the next novel. The reveal and explanation seemed anticlimactic when Lexi finally figured out her Watcher and began to remember. I felt like I was left with more questions, but not in an anticipatory way, more of a way that I felt like the author could have explained better. I also felt there were a few loose ends that still needed tying up. For example, what happened to Tyler? Will we get a more in depth explanation for his behavior? Can we here more about Lexi's background and what happened that summer when she was 14, not just about her birthday. Lastly, what about the Community? This is definitely filling the author may leave for the next novel, which, even with the ending, I will definitely be looking for. Overall, the book was exciting enough to catch my attention from the beginning and interesting enough that I didn't feel disconnected since it is a Young Adult/New Adult novel. I would very much like to read a sequel.
