This is a sweet story of a girl and her grandfather. They travel to the flutterby field to watch the butterflies. Even as she grows up and he grows old, they still share the tradition. It is their special place.

Lovely story with such beautiful illustrations, there are even small colorful butterflies on every text page. It's a book children will enjoy to read and parents will love to share it with their young kids. The story is also a reminder, make sure you spend enough time with the ones close to your heart before, one day, it could be too late.

This book reminds me of Love You Forever, but without the tears that book brings! I love that this girl has a special place to go with her grandpa. The pictures are wonderful and I love that she calls them flutterby's.

A nice little story about a girl, her grandfather, and their visits to the 'Flutterby Fields'. This is sure to be loved byy anyone who loves butterflies.

This was a very cute book about the relationship between granddaughter and grandfather. I enjoyed the story about their secret place and the images are beautiful and artistic. Each pair of pages includes an full image of the setting and the script pages each have a different vibrant, beautiful butterfly image.

This was a cute sentimental story about their bond surviving through the years and as a granddaughter who loves spending time with her grandfather this book really pulled at my heart-strings even though it was short and written for a young audience. Very much enjoyed.

What a cute idea for a children's book! It is short but sweet. I love that it features the relationship of a grandfather and granddaughter. It is a relationship that I don't think we see enough of in literature so this excites me, especially being a grandmother myself. This story about a special place shared by a grandfather with his granddaughter. A beautiful field that comes alive with flutterbies as they walk into the field. Even more special, as the girl becomes an adult she still enjoys time with her grandfather. It is a great way to teach children about the value of spending time with your grandparents as they grow older.

I love the illustrations! They are beautiful. Each page has a new scene done in beautiful vibrant colors. Each text page features a different butterfly.

I love this story about a grandpa and his granddaughter. My 7 year old son read this book by himself easily. Its a cute story with good illustrations!

This is a beautifully illustrated picture book about a secret place that a grandfather shares with his granddaughter where grass grows, flowers boom and butterflies live. The two of them promise each other that they'll keep the secret and not share it with anyone else. Summer after summer they visit Flutterby field together until the granddaughter grows up and hasn't seen her grandfather for years. One day the granddaughter comes back, takes her grandfather's hand and they venture to their secret place again.

The book has illustrations of many different butterflies on the pages. The story is haunting in a way. Young children will appreciate the beauty of the pages and the story about a secret place. Adults on the other hand may feel longing for the days when they were young and their grandparents were an important part of their childhood. In a way, it's a sentimental journey for adults.

I loved this book and recommend it to anyone.

Flutterby Field is a beautiful story, showing the bond between a grandfather and his granddaughter and their own special place. I liked how the story showed how they changed over the years, and how while the connection changed its importance and strength did not. The illustrations are wonderful, and impart the beauty of the field perfectly. My only problem is the use of 'flutterby' rather than butterfly. It is cute, and many kids start off by saying flutterby instead of butterfly. However, I found it distracting and a little frustrating since I am continually struggling to get my children to pronounce things more clearly and correctly.

Flutterby Field is a sweet story with a beautiful message about family and love. despite my annoyance with the language, I think many children, adults, and families will be able to enjoy this story.

The book had a sweet message, but I didn’t like it. It didn’t transition well and it needed to be fleshed out more.

Flutterby Field is a truly lovely picture book written by Naqueeya A. R. The book has lovely illustrations that reminiscent of watercolor paintings. The tale is very sweet and tells about a young girl who visits Flutterby Field with her grandfather. I won’t tell more about the story as this would be a spoiler.

I would have loved to have read this book to my children when they were young.

The first two pages had great cadence, but hiccupped a little on the third. I love that the words and illustrations were on separate pages, so it's easy to position yourself where you can read to a group and see the words with minimal book tilting.

The pictures were beautiful and gave justice to the description of flutterby field. It took a little while, but about halfway through the cadence corrected itself.

I'd probably recommend this book to lovers of Knapp's I'll Love You Forever

I was very close with my own grandfather, so this book definitely touched my heart. Lovely illustrations, sweet story. My daughter is still a little too young to appreciate it, but I know she will love it someday.
