I was quite surprised at how fun Detour to Apocalypse was, and how much I liked the characters right off the bat. They're a perfectly stereotypical '50's bunch, with a surprising amount of personality for such a short story.

That really was my only complaint about the whole story... it was very short. It left me hoping for another immediately, as a good serial novel would.

Definitely on my list of books/serials to keep an eye out for in the future.
