First and foremost, I do not have the Doctor on Demand app. However, this book really intrigued me when I read the description.

One of the things that I liked about it was that you could customize the diet & exercise programs by taking different quizzes throughout the book. You do have to be completely honest in your answers. Sometimes, the questions are a little difficult and you don't even want to admit the answers to yourself.

However, once you are through with the quizzes and read through the steps, you will have a program that should help you to lose weight and feel better about yourself.

The hardest part was to really open myself up and be real with my answers.

This looks less "gimmicky" than some diet plans, and has some good ideas for eating healthier as a whole.

I've read and tried many nutrition/health plans in recent years. I've implemented different changes based on those plans only to fall off the wagon. The Doctor on Demand Diet is the first book that seems completely doable to me. The way in which Dr. Melina lays out carbohydrates is great. I feel like I understand the whole carbohydrate thing for the first time! The different types of protein and starchy veggies...the breakdowns of each is what hooked me. This book is great for someone who wants a structured plan as well as for someone who wants flexibility. You can tailor the plan to fit your needs. I recommend this book, and I can't wait to start.
