ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Marjorie Menardy Magloire was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After leaving Haiti at the age of 14, she and her family relocated to Brooklyn, New York. Marjorie began attending a local Seventh-day Adventist church after being invited by one of its members. She was soon baptized and became involved in many of the youth activities. She met the love of her life, Ronald, at this very church and later married him. Marjorie wears many hats. She is a mother, wife, nurse, and co-founder of Upward Bound Ministries, in Lascahobas, Haiti. She had a burden to go back and minister to those in Haiti, and eventually convinced her husband to share that burden. In the winter of 2011, Marjorie and her husband moved to Haiti to conduct long-term mission work, which included starting a nonprofit organization. Marjorie feels blessed to be involved in ministry and knows that God will help her and her family, every step of the way. She felt inspired to write a few of the interventions that God has done in her life and in the lives of others. Marjorie plans to continue spreading the Good News by all means possible.
