a wonderful resource, with excellent visuals and easy to read details about a variety of characteristics of the different animals. Broken into categories, for example mammals, and reptiles, and birds, etc. with a good breakdown of what makes each stand out. If nothing else, the visuals alone are worth it. It would be a good resource for young students, and also a fun read for adults. Would definitely highly recommend this book, and it would make a wonderful present.

Fabulous nonfiction informational book for children and adults. Lots of interesting facts, photographs, and maps. A perfect book for an animal enthusiast or for students learning about the structure of informational books.

Beautiful pictures, great information, well-organized. A great addition to any K-12 or public library.

A wonderful teaching tool. This encyclopedia is full of wonderful facts and beautiful pictures. There is something for everybody. My daughter is still reading and spends the day, spouting fact after fact that she learned here.
I would recommend to any age level and to educators, looking for a new tool to teach with. It is a very fun book, with lots to learn.

I love this book. This book never stays on the shelf but about 24 hours. Everyone that sees it wants to learn more about the animals inside. I have read it many times and always find something new and interesting with every read. I was given an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is an excellent book for students seeking information about animals. Kids will love the information and illustrations.
