Will Payton’s pursuit for the truth be her last?

Payton Winters is thrust into the position of CEO of The Winters Corporation after the sudden death of her parents. 5 Stars ~ Lauren from Saints and Sinners Book Review

Joanne Jaytanie has delivered another amazing romantic tale littered with suspense and intrigued. Payton’s Pursuit follows Victory Winters (sister of the lead character of the first book of this series) and a former military man named Collin. Collin’s kidnapping turned into a massive nightmare as he became a human test subject by being injected with Wolf DNA. This foreign DNA invasion leaves with him new, uncontrollable talents. He’s a danger to everyone around him except Payton. She’s like his lightning rod. She grounds his wolfly urges. With Payton’s help, they both seek the answers to his kidnapping and her mother’s genetic research.

Jaytanie has created a literary world filled with some of the most unique characters I’ve ever read about. Her ability to pull you into the story makes you feel as if you are the lead character living in this bat shit crazy world. Expanding on the characters, Joanne’s secondary characters never feel as if they are the flower wavers in the background to the lead characters. I love that we are given the chance to get to know them as well. This series perfectly blends paranormal, romance, suspense, humor, and intrigue all into one tightly, well-written bundle of goodness. Payton’s Pursuit is howling-ly good!

5 Stars ~ Shelly Wygant , Reviewer with Nerd Girl

Payton's Pursuit is the second book about the Winters Sisters. You can read it as a stand alone but will understand some things in the book better is you read Chasing Victory, the first book.

Payton is the CEO of the Winters Corporation. She does not have an psychic powers that she knows of. However when she is in the presence of Collin she helps ground him. Victory recognizes this and helps Payton discover and control her psychic powers. Collin is by Payton's side to protect her and for her to help him deal with his anger.

Payton discovers more about her mother's DNA research. Many surprises are in store for the sisters as the discover boxes of their mothers journal about her personal life and her research. Biotech is still in full force and are in control of Collin's half sisters. As Collin and Payton grow closer the action comes out full force.

Once again Ms. Jaytanie writes a story of action, suspense, and mystery. I love how the story taps in the paranormal realm. It is not over the top. The secondary characters play a big part in the story and Ms. Jaytanie does a great job of expanding on their abilities. She also makes the genetics and DNA part of the story interesting as it unravels.

This is a great book with of action and mystery with a great dose of paranormal and romance. I can't wait to read Willow's story.

I received a gift copy in exchange for an honest review. Review has been done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official.

5 Stars ~ I am beyond glad I did

By The Naughty Librarian

I absolutely could NOT put this book down. Ms Jaytanie is definitely part of my must reads from here out. The non stop action runs from cover to cover in this book. I am not normally a fan of scifi, and might not have tried it normally. I am beyond glad I did. To grab my interest on a topic such as genetics, and human testing is a huge step. Payton has one hell of a time in this book. From kidnapping, murder, mayhem, and sexual electricity. This book has it ALL.

5 Stars ~ An exciting mix of fantasy, romance, and thrills

By A. Mosa

Payton's Pursuit is the sequel to Chasing Victory, which was also a five star read. Payton and her sisters have discovered they were genetically altered before birth by their mother with enhanced powers. What they don't know is exactly what was done and the extent of their abilities. An unscrupulous corporation looking to "build" the perfect soldier through mixing human DNA with that of a wolf is involved in a determined search to find the sisters and the men who were the subjects of the experiments after the men and sisters escape from the compound where they were held.

This is a roller coaster of a romantic story. Payton and Collin are a couple who can't live with each other yet can't live without each other either or so they think:) She is the force, the only psychic force, that can completely control the violent emotions that remain from the experiments done on him. The problem is: she has no idea how her power works and initially dislikes Collin an isn't keen on helping him.

The author who has three dobermans and has a good amount of experience with dog shows, includes some fun scenes involving the canines and their owners.

If you like paranormal romance with a little sci-fi, and action, then you'll thoroughly enjoy Payton's Pursuit.

5 Stars ~ Another winner by Joanne!

By Melissa

The story continues and of course, there are those hot military men, strong women and sweet dobermans. I was constantly trying to guess what was going to happen next, but Joanne had me fooled and kept me engrossed in the story! Twists and turns worth reading to the end, which I love. Thank you Joanne for another great read! You have a lifetime fan and reader in me.

5 Stars ~ANOTHER WINNING NOVEL

By Grace Augustine

I could go on and on about the content of this wonderful book, but suffice it to say, I won't. You will have to pick up a copy (which I highly encourage you to do) and find out for yourself one of the best kept secrets in the reading world....Ms. Joanne Jaytanie.

The unravelling of Biotec and The Kaleidoscope Group continues in this gripping tale of intrigue in Payton’s Pursuit. Joanne Jaytanie is a master of excellent story weaving including her descriptions of biological warfare and governmental involvement, both putting many lives at stake. This is the 2nd book in the Winters’ Sisters’ series. I cannot wait for Book 3 to find out what is next for our super sleuths as they take out the bad guy and research personal issues that affect all involved. A definite must have for your library. It certainly is among my top ten all-time favorites that I’ve read

5Do not miss this series... FANTASTIC BySwedenmomon June 3, 2015 Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase After reading the first book, I could not wait but was a little worried about buying the second. HOWEVER, this book was even better than the first! The author leaves you on the edge wondering what is going to happen next and how will it turn out. A page turner that you do not want to end. Surprises, romance, laughter, sorrow. All the elements of a super read! I cannot wait for book three!

Payton is one of three triplets. She manages Winters Corporation research campus. Her parents were killed in a car accident five years ago. Payton blacked out for thirty minutes in her sister Victory's home lab. She didn't tell anyone that there had been a couple of earlier episodes. Collin had another uncontrollable fit of rage, yet felt calm and serenity wrapped around him when Payton was there. Collin had been injected with wolf DNA.

This was an excellent book. I loved the way Payton and Collin evolved. This was different from anything I have read, but thoroughly enjoyable. Great characters and plot. Overall great book. I highly recommend it.
