I’ll Never Let You Go was a very well laid out romantic suspense. It’s the third book in the Morgans of Nashville series. I haven’t read the other books but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. I was very impressed at the level of suspense that is permeated throughout this book. I’ll Never Let You Go centers around Leah Carson who was stabbed 23 times by her law enforcement husband Philip Latimer 4 years prior. Miraculously, she survives and Philip supposedly dies in a car accident. It’s a few weeks away from their wedding anniversary and strange things are starting to happen. While looking into a possible corrupt cop, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Agent Alex Morgan ends up going out on a date with the cop’s new friend who just so happens to be Leah Carson. Several bodies start to drop including the cop being investigated. All signs point to the possibility that Leah’s dead husband is responsible.

The twists and turns in this book are hard to predict and keep things very unsettling. Just when you think you know what’s going to happen, you’re wrong. I was on the edge of my seat until the very end. It’s been awhile since I have read a suspense novel this good. The characters are very well written and I was truly invested in what happens to them. Leah portrays a strong woman that fights very hard to regain her footing after spending the past 4 years still looking over her shoulder. Alex Morgan is a very focused and confident investigator even though no one else in law enforcement likes him because he investigates cops. They are eventually pulled together like magnets and Alex does everything he can to protect her and unravel the mystery. Bringing the other Morgan siblings along for the ride, shows just how strong a family filled with cops can be. I just may have to go back and read the other books in the series to get to know them better.

Mary Burton has been a favorite author of mine for some time, so I jumped at the chance to review this book. And I certainly wasn't disappointed. Focusing on abusive relationships and a killer on the lose, she does a great job of interweaving storylines and personalities, while at the same time keeping you on your toes. Highly recommended.

Leah leaves her husband and he stalks and stabs her but despite that she goes on to make a life for herself. Then strange things start happening that scare her and make her suspicious that these events may be tied to her past. A murder links back to Leah and the TBI agent, Alex, assigned to investigate the murder keeps coming back to the crime committed against Leah. The two are attracted to each other but with Leah’s past can they connect. Great read!! I would like to thank the publisher and Net Galley for the chance to read this ARC.

What would you do if no one believed you were being stalked? What if you didn't even believe it? That is the basic premise of Mary Burton's "I'll Never Let You Go". After surviving a brutal attack by her husband, Leah begins a new life. But little things start to go wrong. Does she have a new stalker or is she simply not over the last attack?

This is the first book I have read by Mary Burton and it won't be my last. A gripping storyline and an exciting read from start to the suprise ending. If you like books with lots of twists and turns and that you find hard to put down, this one is a must read.

I was given an ARC of I'll Never Let You Go from NetGalley for an honest review and this is my review.
This was a very well written book by Mary Burton and a great addition to this series. I enjoyed Alex's story and it was nice getting to know the Morgan family member that has been standoffish in other books. Alex has always been a bit of an enigma so getting to know what makes this TBI agent tick was fascinating and a great book to read.
I also enjoyed the character of Leah and how perfect she was for Alex. She was broken in her own right but had enough strength in herself to be a great match for the "ice man". It was an interesting pairing but written so well the reader had to see the genious in it.
Now for the plot, that too was excellent. Burton had me guessing until the end. I was not sure if Philip really had faked his death and was back to finally kill Leah or if something else was going on. I kept looking for telling clues to let me know who the killer was but I was second guessing myself until the very end. Just as if should be in a well written suspense book.
I am giving I'll Never Let You Go four stars out of five stars and highly recommend you read this series from Mary Burton because all of the books are very good.
