Edisto Jinx is the second book in C. Hope Clark's Edisto Island mystery series. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, Murder on Edisto. Edisto Jinx is a great story as well.

I have been to Edisto Island and found it to be a fascinating place. What first attracted me to the series was the setting. C. Hope Clark is a great storyteller. The story began in Murder on Edisto flawlessly transitions into the Edisto Jinx tale.

I love the flawed character, Callie Morgan. She has a wounded soul but Edisto Island is gradually healing her. The rest of the characters are well written and fit into the story well. I enjoyed the mystery aspect as well. It was very well plotted and kept me guessing until the end.

I love being taken back to Edisto Island in this series. Clark knows Edisto well and easily brings it to life in her writing. I have been to or seen most of the places in the book like McConkeys...great food!

Thanks for the trip to Edisto, Ms. Clark. I cannot wait for the next in the series!

Callie Morgan used to be a big city detective, now in Edisto Beach, she and police chief Mike Seabrook are hunting down a killer when a tourist ends up dead. They are chasing leads and suspects and caught between demands that the killer be caught quickly and angry business owners who say the investigation is scaring the tourists, and their business, away. But that may be the least of their worries, because the killer has taken a keen interest in Callie
