I received a copy of this book for review from Netgalley.
This was my first book by this author. I love reading about strong women who can handle the obstacles thrown in their path with stubborn tenacity. Jess is an excellent example! She is strong, capable, and loving. She is a character that you can't help but love and wish you had in your life. Easton is an intelligent, loyal, sexy cowboy. He's family and animals are most important so when a little spitfire starts working for his parents she turns his world upside down.
Both characters have an exceptional love for animals. They care about family and go above and beyond. This is a story that while yes it does have some heartbreak but it also is about recovery in more than one aspect. Wonderful read.

This is the first book by this author I've read and am pleasantly surprise how well she incorporated this story into others in the series. The story captured my attention from the first page and literally held it throughout 'til the end. I thoroughly enjoyed how Jessie and Easton worked off of each other and that the author didn't draw out their attraction to each other. There was the perfect mixture of drama, romance and banter to keep the story moving along and fresh. I'm looking forward to going back and reading the previous books in the series.

This is the first book I have read by Amy Gregory and I regret not having read her books before. This was a sweet love story between Easton and Jessica. There is chemistry between them from the moment they meet but they try and fight it. Their mutual love for horses bonds them at a deeper level. Overall a very smoothly paced romance.
