With his world spiraling out of control Cutter is at a lost. Self-doubt starts to kick in and he is quickly losing his grip on all he holds dear. I received an ARC of A Bad Boy for Christmas in exchange for an honest review. Kelly Hunter wrote a story that is Grade A in every way. She took an alpha male who is used to being in control and a no holds barred woman who rolls with life punches and created a love story that is savvy, sexy, touching and just plain awesome. I am a little sad that I am just discovering this series but can always catch up.
A fast moving, sweet romance. Mia was rather blunt with her words, turns out it's more to protect herself, not to be hurtful. Cutter is reluctant to start a relationship...at first...once he and Mia decide to start one, it moves mighty fast. I enjoyed this book and the supporting characters are fun too.
Great dialogue, wonderful characters with strong personalities, heartwarming and oh so special!
Cutter Joe Jackson and his younger brothers, Caleb and Eli, were working one day when into their place of business came a man and a woman that would change their lives forever. Mia Blake and Jackson Nash had come to visit and were there to try to find answers to questions that could not be answered until Cutter’s father and mother returned from their vacation in the UK.
What a wonderful story of family, loyalty, lust, love and belonging. Cutter and Mia were perfect for one another and every scene they were in made me want more. I could not put this down and kept hoping for the best for everyone mentioned.
Thank you also to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for giving me the copy to read and review. I definitely look forward to reading more books by Kelly Hunter and want to thank her for writing such a tremendous story!
Mia Blake is a street wise kid from the foster system. This is where she meets her good friend Nash a fellow foster child. Now grown up they have stayed in touch. They have formed a sister/brother type bond and look out for each other. Nash wants to meet the father he never had and Mia of course wants to help. While looking for his father the pair come across the brothers he did not know he had.
Cutter is the oldest, or so he thinks until he meets Nash. He feels his duty is to look out for his family. Cutter and Nash are only 6 months apart in age and look like twins. Mia has only platonic feelings for Nash but Cutter sets her on fire. How could someone with the same face as your best friend be so different to look at? This is a fast pace romance which is full of sass. Cutter has met his match in Mia as he is about to find out.
The only thing that confused me about this book was the title. Yes this book is set at Christmas however it isn't really about the holiday season. Mia and Cutter are both feisty characters. Both seem like they are players rather than the commitment type so therefore I would say she is as bad as he is.
I'd recommend this book to everyone who has similar tastes in books to me. It’s hot, fast paced and an all round short easy read. I rate this book 4.5* out of 5.
This book can be read as a standalone or as part of a bigger picture.

Three brothers, work together, play together and have their world turned upside down together when a previously unheard of older half brother turns up. Born only months before Cutter, Jackson Nash has been in foster care for most of his life and comes seeking answers after finding out about his father when his mother died three weeks ago. He’s accompanied by his foster sister, Mia Blake, who is feisty, resilient, argumentative and instantly attracted to Cutter! To make things interesting, Cutter is also instantly attracted to Mia.
With their father overseas, the brothers are in doubt about Jackson being another brother – Jackson and Cutter could be twins in looks! However, the foundations of their family and relationships are rocked by this revelation and their father seems to be reticent to come home, talk to his newly discovered son or talk about this with any of them. Life’s got interesting, to put it mildly, and Cutter and Mia’s attraction is just adding to the drama!
This is a superb story of family loyalty being stretched and extended, of lust, love, romance and heroism. It was a riveting read, with great characters and an engaging plot that had me rooting for them all throughout, making it a book I didn’t want to put down till the very end. Although it is the third book in the series about these brothers, I had not read any of the earlier ones and it works well as a standalone – though I’d now also love to read the earlier two novels! I have no hesitation in highly recommending it to anyone who enjoys family dramas and romance.
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for this, an honest review.
The Jackson brothers are about to have their lives changed forever. This change comes in the form of an older brother that no one knew about.
Mia Blake had no idea she would meet the man of her dreams when she traveled to Brunswick Bay with her best friend, Jackson Nash, to find his father. Since meeting Cutter, she can't seem to get him out of her mind.
Cutter didn't know what to think when he met Jackson. But he figured he would do the best he could to get to know him and arrange a reunion between his father and Jackson. But it was Mia that he really wanted to get to know better.
Mia is not just any average woman. She is a tattoo artist, loves vintage cars, street racing and martial arts. She knows how to handle herself around men. But can she handle herself around Cutter when he tells her he has fallen in love with her and wants her to stay in Brunswick Bay with him?
This is one of those books that you don't want to end. There are so many other stories in it that you just want it to keep going on. I previously read the other two brother's stories and enjoyed them too. I hope Jackson Nash gets his own story really soon too.
This was a great, heartwarming story that I really enjoyed. It was my first book by Kelly Hunter but it certainly won't be my last
I loved A Bad Boy For Christmas – Cutter and Mia are so perfectly matched, and enjoyed the other’s attitude without once wanting to change a thing about them.
Mia and Nash had been through the foster care system together, while not actually related they thought of each other as family. When Nash made the decision to confront his father Mia went along with him for support… and to toss in her own measure of disdain or help depending on how things went. Mia was a badass, take no prisoners, tell it to your face without regrets type of woman – and one when nervous those attributes came out even stronger. Nash was quieter, more inclined to keep his thoughts to himself. While Nash was not a weak man, he was in many ways a broken man considering his upbringing. He wants answers from the man identified as his father. He just wants answers. He’s not looking for a family, too late for that but he does want to know how his father could have left him with a woman who at age 4 tried to sell him for drugs resulting him being placed into the foster system.
Cutter, Eli and Caleb’s world spun out of control when they laid eyes on the woman and man approaching the marina. There was absolutely no doubt of denying this stranger’s parentage – he could have been Cutter’s twin. Now came the details of working out relationships, contacting the parents who were out of town on an anniversary trip and figuring out how to bring Nash – and Mia – into the family fold. Add to that monumental task, factor in the obvious, hot attraction from the very start between Mia and Cutter… and you have one emotionally packed story.
A Bad Boy For Christmas is a sexy, emotional, and entertaining story of romance and the expanding of an established family. Mia and Cutter are both strong, independent people who are accustomed to being in control. What they discover is that two hot headed people can in fact become a strong couple when the accept each other for exactly who they are and celebrate their differences. The story surrounds not only the sexual tensions between Cutter and Mia, but how a totally unknown brother can be brought into a family without question and how the dynamics change for the better.
Looking for an intense, entertaining romance this Christmas season? Then pick up A Bad Boy For Christmas, this is one you’re going to want to experience for yourself.
*I received an e-ARC of A Bad Boy Christmas from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
Cutter has definitely found his match in Mia. His whole world has turned upside down and there's Mia adding fuel to fire. But she is exactly what he needs and what a pair they make.
And what a surprise Jackson Nash turned out to be. totally unexpected. I dod not see that one coming. Looks like we will be getting another Jackson brother story. And I have a feeling I know who he's going to be paired up with. I guess I will have to just wait and see.
A Bad Boy for Christmas was unexpectedly a very humorous and quite charming short romance despite the almost very serious plot and its all due to the main romantic couple's humorous interactions. From first sight Mia and Cutter's attraction to each other was quite obvious and quite inconvenient since they are kind of loosely related. Thankfully not by blood, as Cutter states but all the same hitting on your long lost brother's foster sister isn't really something to be proud of. The family situation was tense, however, its Mia and Cutter's witty repartee and Mia's exuberant laissez-faire attitude that makes this book simply engaging and highly entertaining. Both Mia and Cutter's personalities are just so different and so fresh that you just keep turning the pages because they really carried the story. A Bad Boy for Christmas is definitely a recommend for those who likes a lot humor and sexiness in their romances.
Fantastic read! Loved the story and the two head strong characters of Cutter and Mia are a perfect match! One day Cutter has his life perfectly in order just how he likes it. It's chaos but it's controlled until he looks into the face of a man who could be his twin. Not only does he find out he has a brother he knows nothing about but his parents seemed to be MIA and Nash's "sister" Mia is driving him mad. Constantly questioning and challenging him he'd like to drown her or kiss her. He can't decide which urge is stronger.
This is a fun quick read that I think you will enjoy. I highly recommend it.
A Bad Boy Christmas has everything — past secrets, family encounters, witty conversations and vivid chemistry.
Cutter Jackson’s life was absolutely perfect. His two brothers were married and finally settling down with their own little family. Their parents were off celebrating another anniversary in London and the fishing business was going well. Things were certainly looking up especially when a spitfire of a woman came walking through the door…until she opened her mouth.
Apparently all of them are siblings though the only one that isn’t blood related is the spitfire woman named Mia. Too bad she’s forbidden fruit.
Mia Blake is there to support the only family she’s ever known make his way into the Jackson fold, but she isn’t one to look for a place even if they offer her one. She not here to stay, but before she leaves she wants to explore this handsome bad boy, Cutter. Too bad he thinks she’s forbidden because she ready to ignite the sparks into a fire neither of them can put out.
I haven’t read the other two books, but I absolutely loved this story! Mia’s character is so likable that I wish she was my sister. Mia and Cutter’s constant banter is amazing. Mia is definitely a force of nature and that right there is fun to see. This quick story will have you laughing and hoping that everything goes as smoothly as can be.
I love it when both the h/H are tough alpha personalities in a story. It makes for quite an entertaining page turner. I LOVED Cutter and Mia ... love love love!!!
This story was SO much fun to read. A quick afternoon read full of excitement. Altho Cutter is the 3rd Jackson bother to get a story, this can easily be read as a standalone.
If you're looking for a fun read full of sexy sparks, then you've come to the right place :)

Cutter, Eli and Caleb Jackson suddenly have their world turned upside down when out of nowhere a half brother they never knew they had, Jackson Nash, walks into their world looking for answers and to meet the father he never knew. Jackson could be Cutter’s twin so there is no doubt that he is who he claims he is. Coming along with Jackson for support is his foster sister Mia. When Mia and Cutter meet there is an instant attraction that the two try to push away for the sake of the family.
After thirty years of marriage though, the Jackson boys parents have gone to Europe for an anniversary trip. Not knowing when they’ll be returning Jackson and Mia stick around to get to know the family better and are soon welcomed by everyone while things begin to grow between Mia and Cutter.
A wonderful little story about family with great characters and an engaging plot. Not only do you have a lovely growing romance between Cutter and Mia but watching the family accept Jackson and Mia both after the world they came from with not having families was truly touching.
Great little novella, would definitely recommend.

A playful and sassy read, “A Bad Boy for Christmas” is all about family and familial responsibility. Cutter Jackson, the titular “bad boy” in the story is the first born and natural leader of the three Jackson brothers who just found out that there is a fourth one.
And if that shock was not enough, there was Mia Blake who just rocked Cutter’s world. There is one problem though. Mia is the sister of their half-brother Nash!
It’s Christmas down under and that means summer! The temperature is hot and made hotter with the chemistry between Cutter and Mia. And though Cutter might be a bad boy, Mia gives Cutter hell as much as he would take it. After all, growing up in the streets of Melbourne gave her an advantage.
You will love Cutter and Mia. Its bad boy meets sassy when it comes to these two! The supporting characters are also colorful. Author Kelly Hunter made all of them well-rounded no matter how small their part was.
A funny read with lots of heat. “A Bad Boy for Christmas” is Rated M for Mature due to sexual content.
Whew, a romance with a lot of family drama. Gotta love when the characters try to fight their attraction to each other and fail miserably, then end up in love.
Cutter Jackson’s day started out like any other day until...in walks a brother that he never knew existed. On top of that his half brother, Nash, has a sister...that's not really his sister, Mia, that Cutter finds to be super hot!
Confusing right...WRONG...Mia is Nash's adoptive sister and she is not afraid to shock Cutter's socks right off. What started off for Mia as a trip to support her brother became one of the greatest experiences of her life.
Cutter and Mia know they should stay very far away from each other but their hearts refuse to stay sheltered. Can Cutter convince Mia that their romance should last longer than the holidays? Read and find out!
I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review.
Honestly I loved everything about this book. Mia and Cutter were explosive together. Usually when I read a book I pick one character that I like more than the other but this time I found myself in love with them all. Every character appeared to be extremely confident but when you delved a little deeper there was a vulnerability that stole your heart.
If you want a book for a great price, that will steal your heart, make you laugh, cry and keep you warm on a cold winter night...then this is the book for you!
Great job as usual Kelly Hunter!
A Bad Boy for Christmas by Kelly Hunter concerns the third Jackson brother, Cutter Joe. I went back to look the first two brothers stories up since I did not remember the stories being listed as the Australian Jackson Brother Series. For those who may have been unaware of the other brothers’ stories they are: Eli’s – The Honeymoon Trap and Caleb’s - Sympathy for the Devil.
Cutter is the oldest of the brothers and finds love last of the three. It literally walks through the door with very unexpected news. Cutter has the oldest brother thing going on so he needs being put in his place sometimes. I love his relationship with his brothers’ wives and while it seems as if Zoey and Bree is doing a good job of this, Cutter needs true love not just sibling love. The banter between Mia and Cutter is sharp, witty and humorous. In fact, Mia can be a bit like sandpaper when she put her mind to it. I loved these two together, definitely two characters who belong with each other.
There is intrigue, love, and family loyalty. At times it is flirty and fun, other times poignant. All the time it is enjoyable.

A Bad Boy for Christmas is the third book in Kelly Hunter's Jackson Brothers series and for context you'll get more out of this book if you've read the first two. Don't worry if you haven't though. A Bad Boy For Christmas stands alone just fine and delivers an enjoyable read.
Set on Australia's east coast, the feel is casual and laid back and the setting is clearly one Kelly Hunter is familiar with. She has delivered a balanced mix between the slow pace of life that goes hand in hand with sun, sand and surf and the efficiency of the Jacksons' well run and efficient boating and marina business. Cutter Jackson is the oldest of the three brothers and very much a ladies' man with his killer good looks but until he meets Mia he's always kept things light and easy. He's friendly and casual in social settings but driven, hard working and efficient with his business. He's also fiercely protective of his family and takes his role as senior sibling very seriously so when he is suddenly confronted by an older half brother and a "sister", his world is turned on end, particularly because of the instant attraction he feels for Mia. Mia has been in the foster care system throughout her childhood, bonding with Jackson Nash along the way. Nash looks just like Cutter yet she's only ever viewed him as a brother whereas Cutter has her hot and bothered from the start.
If you're into Aussie Christmases with all the trimmings, a good dose of family loyalty, a touch f healing and a whole lot of feeling good then this story should hit the spot ncely for you.
This one came as quit a surprise to me. Kelly Hunter is a new to me author, and I really enjoyed reading A Bad Boy for Christmas. I don't know what I would do if I were the Jackson brothers finding out that my father had a son they all never knew about, even the father. Tension was definitely high throughout most of the book with a tad bit of suspense and drama thrown in the mix, but the romance budding between Cutter and Mia was undeniable from the moment these two meet. Things between them are tense at first and they of course try to steer clear of one another, but chemistry like that can't be ignored for long before it explodes. I've got to say, I really enjoyed reading this one. It was a short, sweet, and suspenseful book that definitely left me craving more of this series so I can read about the other brothers and how they fell in love. I also would love to read a story for Nash too, so I hope that happens as well. :)
Kelly Hunter's A Bad Boy for Christmas is a heart felt, quick read. I loved reading about Mia and Cutter. She was a witty bad ass and he was a sexy, protective alpha male. Watching the initial interactions between the two had me laughing out loud, and watching them fall in love was easy and fun. I really enjoyed watching their story unfold. This story had a twist in that Mia and Cutter met because he was Mia's brother's brother. They tried to deny their chemistry and that made it all the hotter when they gave in. One thing I absolutely loved about Mia was her sexual confidence. She was the one who initiated sex for the first time with Cutter and it was gutsy just like her. This book was one I read in one sitting because it captivated me and held me until the very end. I'm thinking that I'll have to go back and read the stories of Cutter's two married brothers sometime soon. I give this book 4.5 stars and will be reading it again sometime.
While I enjoyed most of this book their were parts I wanted to skip past.
A fun and delicious treat! Hunter has a knack for writing sexy alphas and this one doesn't disappoint!
What an awesome read i just love Kelly Hunter i have been a fan for years now and i was not disappointed with this book at all.
The author has such a great style of writing and always brings us the best stories which capture our hearts as well as our attention i was utterly riveted by this tale.

What happens when you find out that your dad had a fling before he married? You discover you aren't the oldest brother. Cutter Jackson was comfortable and familiar being the oldest and now new big brother has come in and shaken things up a bit. Especially when he brings along his 'sister' and the attraction hits. A quick read with all the sexual and romantic tension you'd expect.
