Great fun with Snoopy and the gang in the usual comic strip format. Charlie Brown is adorable!

In this book, the strips gathered mainly feature Snoopy. There are an inordinate number with just Snoopy on his doghouse. It's absolutely amazing how much Schulz was able to do with so little, just a dog on a small building. And LOTS of strips with birds. I knew Snoopy and Woodstock were good friends but I didn't realize that he liked ALL birds. At least, what look like blue birds.
As with other Snoopy/Peanuts books I've enjoyed, a nice blast of nostalgia. Great for Shulz fans and neophytes alike.
Four stars Book comes out March 22, 2016

Another day, another great Peanuts collection. What can I say that's not already been said, classic Peanuts comic strips are funny and are a great read, either by themselves or in a collection like this one. Pick it up!

There's nothing new one can say about Peanuts, just another day another great adventure. I loved this book. I read it because I can remember when I was a kid I would watch a Snoopy movie every Christmas and after the new The Peanuts Movie (which was great) I needed more. It was a treat :)

SNOOOPY: PARTY ANIMAL by Charles M. Schulz is a rerelease of one of the author's classic cartoons; and boy did they pick a good one with this cute and humorous little tale. Join Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and all the gang as the party on down at Snoopy's digs. Highly recommended if you fondly remember the classic Snoopy and Charlie Brown comics; or if you just need a cute read that will leave you with a smile on your face.

Here's Snoopy, good ol' Charlie Brown and the gang in a comic book of classic laughs. I really enjoyed this book and if you're a Peanuts fan you will too. There are some oldie originals in here that will get you chuckling and some newer ones (when did Linus get glasses?) too. While there are a few standard "Lucy pulls the football away" frames, the main star in this book is Snoopy. He delivers one-liners that just crack me up. I hee-hawed my way through this book and it reminded me of reading the funnies in the Sunday paper every morning while growing up. I also just saw The Peanuts Movie (awesome!) so I was primed and ready to see more of the Peanuts gang.

This book will be released on March 22, 2016. Pre-order it now from your favorite bookseller or get on the list to check it out at your local public library for some good, clean entertainment. Suitable for all ages, although some of the humor would be more understood by ages middle grade and above. 5 of 5 stars. I was given a digital ARC of this book by NetGalley in exchange for this honest and unbiased review.

This was so adorable. You honestly can't go wrong with a Peanut book, as they're just so classic. This collection of comics didn't disappoint. Snoopy and his friends were definitely fun to read about. Snoopy is a very funny and charming character. He's an iconic dog character for a reason!

How can one not love Snoopy? If you are already a fan this will re-enforce why, and if (gasp) you're just learning about Snoopy, this will show you why he's the most admired Beagle in the world. I'd tell you more but it would interfere with plans to intercept with the Red Baron and I've been sworn to secrecy. National Security and all that...so you'll have to get the book and find out on your own. No decoder ring needed, just a sense of humor and an open mind.

Snoopy! What's not to love! Amp comics has a new collection of Peanuts cartoons, mostly featuring Charlie Brown's inimitable dog, Snoopy. Snoopy: Party Animal features Snoopy, hanging out on his doghouse, talking to birds, stealing Linus's blanket, contemplating life, and, did I mention, hanging out on his doghouse?

Charles M. Schulz's main character in Peanuts may have been Charlie Brown, but Snoopy usually steals the show. He's the dog with attitude, wisdom, and a great outlook on life, who balances Charlie Brown's gloomy optimism (or was it optimistic gloominess?).

Even though Schulz passed away in 2000, Peanuts still appears in many papers and, of course, collections like this continue to be published. The Peanuts holiday specials are perennial favorites, and a recent feature film introduced Snoopy and the gang to new audiences. Snoopy's antics and wisdom are timeless (although I would be interested to know the original publication dates of these comic strips). Snoopy may be a smart alec, and sometimes he's just a little arrogant, but he's still a good dog, Charlie Brown.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the complimentary electronic review copy!

Snoopy and the rest of the gang are back for even more funny sketches and cute antics. This comic collection is about a really cute dog named Snoopy, and if you haven’t heard of him, what planet have you been on?

If you have never read a Snoopy comic collection, this is a great place to start. This edition is fun packed, and not repetitive at all. All the Peanuts gang feature in this book and Snoopy is in almost every panel. There are usually between three and ten panels per page, which works out perfectly.

This book is perfect for kids and older Snoopy fans alike, I highly recommend you give this comic collection a look as you won’t be disappointed.

This is the most quotable Peanuts book I've ever read. My favorite one is "Until it is demonstrated, one forgets the really great difference that exists between the merely competent amateur and the very expert professional". The title book is not about Snoopy partying all the time but is does show how much fun he has. The best parts are when you see him having fun with others and bringing joy to those around him. This is a great book for anyone to read.

What a fun book this is! Charles Schultz was a genius. After so many years, the kids I have today will enjoy this book as much as I did when I was their age. I didn’t appreciate the depth and intelligence of Charles Schultz when I was a kid, but I’m sure I’m a better person from my reading of Peanuts and I think it’s safe to say that my kids will be similarly improved.

This was a fun comic. I’ve come across these comics before but I hadn’t seen any of the ones seen in this one book. As usual Snoopy is such a funny dog. All the characters were really cute and funny. I had actually laughed out loud reading this.

This is a series of comics starring Snoopy and his friends. Lots of fun going on during all seasons. Of course there are many strips involving Supper time, Snow, Linus and his blanket and Charlie Brown with his exploits with the football and his kite. Freida makes several appearances with her boneless cat. I do not remember her from the comics in the newspaper, but they were entertaining strips. This is a great collection for all fans of Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang. At the end there are a couple of activities to do to prepare for a Snoopy Party. I enjoyed this book, it is for all ages!

I love this book! Snoopy was always my favorite comic strip dog and still is! It was fun seeing Snoopy interact with all his friends and a cat. This is not just for adults to enjoy but also today's kids! The illustrations are exactly as I remember and they're great! Enjoy!

Reading Snoopy brings me back to when I was little and sneaking the comics section from the Sunday newspapers without letting my father see.

I was enjoying this too much and find that it's much too short. Not sure whether I'll buy it for myself but makes a great gift to introduce someone to the a Peanuts family. It's suitable for the young and the young at heart.

I love Snoopy and the whole Peanuts gang! I have loved them since I was a kid...I even had a blue Snoopy digital watch. I enjoyed this collection of comics.

The Peanuts gang is back in a new collection of comic strips by the great Charles M. Schulz! Who doesn't love Charlie Brown, his friends, and especially his dog, Snoopy? I have to admit that I was always partial to Snoopy so was excited to see he's the focus of SNOOPY: PARTY ANIMAL. I'm pretty sure all of the strips in this collection have been published before but that didn't stop me from enjoying them.

One of the best things about the Peanuts comics is that they can be shared and enjoyed by the whole family. SNOOPY: PARTY ANIMAL will bring back fond memories for the older generation and delight younger family members with its gentle humor. If you like Peanuts (you know you do!) you'll want to check out this new collection of strips.

It's Snoopy. It's the whole Peanuts gang. You know exactly what you're going to find here. If not, what are you waiting for!? Go ahead! Read it! Now!

This has to be the best Snoopy edition from Andrews McMeel Publishing. Fantastic selection of strips. Loved that it includes a good bunch of Frieda strips, pestering Snoopy to be useful and go hunting some rabbits.

This is a great collection of Snoopy comics! The Peanuts gang always puts a smile on my face :)

Most of the stories included here feature Snoopy, although a lot of the kids make an appearance as well (and Charlie Brown is always around, of course), and we can see the adorable dog usually just hanging out on top of his dog house, enjoying the little things in life.

I've always loved how simple these comic strips are and how entertaining they can be! If you're a fan of Snoopy then this is definitely for you.

I also thought it was really cute that they included some tutorials for parties at the end, like how to make origami party hats.

SNOOPY!!!
End of review.

I've said it before these comics do not require a wordy review, they speak for themselves. If a picture is worth a thousand words then these comics are worth twice that, if not more. The selection in this book are darling, charming, adorable and, as always, so much fun. I found myself getting completely lost while reading this.

Written by Ben, age 10:

This is another new Snoopy comic book! It has many funny stories with Snoopy, Woodstock , Charlie Brown, and the rest of the characters. Snoopy even has a party.

I really like the Snoopy comics because they are funny and Snoopy reminds me of my dog, except my dog doesn't do as much stuff on his own.

'Snoopy: Party Animal' by Charles M. Schulz is a collection of classic Peanuts strips mostly featuring Snoopy.

The main thing we learn is that Snoopy likes his supper. And he doesn't mind hosting the occasional gathering of birds at his place. Frieda decides to get her own pet because she thinks Snoopy is too smug, so she gets a cat. There are cartoons featuring all teh seasons, but the Fall ones might be my favorite, with the Great Pumpkin and Charlie Brown trying to kick the football that Lucy is holding for him. Snoopy is a vulture and a fierce mountain lion, and after Linus' blanket.

These are reprints of classic strips and they've be colorized. I don't mind these being in color, but they've made Charlie Brown's shirt red! It's always been yellow, so I'm not sure what they were thinking. Also, Frieda's cat is one color, then in another strip, it's a completely different color. So, consistency in the color would have been nice and also referencing colors from other sources. But this is a collection for kids, not particularly enthusiasts or collectors, and it's a fun one for old and new readers alike.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.
