Loved this book! i hope it has a sequel. I would love to see Kendra solving more crimes in her time traveling era. The book has many interesting characters that I would also enjoy more background on. It definitely kept my attention. Not only is the mystery compelling, but it is interesting to learn about life 200 years ago and how much things have changed.
Take one FBI profiler, mix in betrayal, time travel, and a serial killer in 1815 England and what do you have? A fine mystery that kept me reading through the whole thing and not wanting to stop at bedtime. The characters were interesting and Kendra Donovan did not weep and moan about being in a different time. She figured it out and then decided how she would handle it as best she could. Yes, her language should have gotten her in more trouble than it did, but overall I hope the author writes another in this series. It really needs a sequel.
OK...First, I LOVED KENDRA!! She was so cool and once I got to know her a bit I wondered how the heck she was going to fit in in the past, but she fit beautifully. This was a wonderful story I will be reading again and again!
Loved the book!! Plot is an FBI profiler going back in time and attempting to solve a murder, but of course 200 years ago there was no forensics, and as a female she has even more problems. Really great read, the heroine notes how much more work it was to live back then, and gets caught up in what can she safely say. Highly recommended!
