Description
Love is a many murdered thing.
Three months after catching a killer, Margarita escapes to a historic hotel with Drew and Bindi for a Valentine’s weekend of geocaching. But during the love-themed costume ball, the CEO of a satellite navigation company keels over—and then his body vanishes.
As the weekend progresses, Margarita discovers threatening messages in the logbooks of local geocaches. Her attempts to unmask the blackmailer are thwarted by the last person she would have expected.
With a stubborn sheriff on the case, Margarita and Bindi must take matters into their own hands. But whether they’re chasing one killer or two, they have a problem: all their suspects seem to have solid alibis.
Between misunderstandings, outright lies, old secrets, and more than one corpse, it’s not Love in the air anymore. It’s Death.
What is Geocaching?
From Geocaching.com:
“Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.”

A tangled web of mysteries. Lots of old and new secrets are revealed. Interesting geocaching location.
Really good cosy mystery! Plenty of clues dotted around the book to keep you interested and involved with the story, likeable and quirky characters who are well written and layered.
Red herrings abound and puzzles galore. I really liked that there was a puzzle in the back too, I'll be giving that a go this weekend! Highly recommended.
Unlike the first book in the series, you don't really have to know all about geocaching to get into it. The mystery comes a little bit later, and with a very big surprising twist. The prose seems a lot more coherent. There are still some silly things here and there, but far less. I feel like the author was struggling to find their footing with the first, and it finally came together in the second. Reading rhis title makes me really want to look for the third installment!
Death Will Attend by Morgan C. Talbot is the second book in the Caching Out Mysteries Series, and my first book by this author. I love puzzles, mysteries, and games, so this book was right up my ally. I am looking forward to going back and reading the first book in the series, First to Find.
Margarita, her boyfriend Drew, and her roommate Bindi, go on a cachers Valentine’s weekend getaway. Margarita is disappointed that she is rooming with Bindi instead of Drew, but she is excited about the weekend. Drew and Bindi don't always get along, but both people are very important to Margarita. The first night is a costume party, and the mystery takes off from there. Strange accidents and a missing body all add to the mystery.
I strongly recommend this book for people who enjoy a good cozy mystery. The book kept me reading until the end. The characters are well developed, and so is the plot. I am looking forward to reading another book by this author.
