A mysterious painting in Ruth’s attic brings up questions about their grandparents’ entwined past and their own broken romance. More comfortable with the unspoken languages of art and music, Naomi and Keith find it difficult to share their old hurts and true feelings.

Londonderry Dreaming is an example of how the past affects the present, and how forgiveness and love needs to move on.
The story opens with Keith trying to sort out his grandmother’s possessions, after her recent death, and while he is dealing with this an old love appears at the door. Apparently his grandmother had invited Naomi to come and she spend some time with her in Northern Ireland, and she has a gift for her.
There are surprises here that abound, and find some bitter individuals who try and manipulate the lives of their loved ones. This is what happened to this young couple, and the love they had for one another five years ago.
Is Keith’s grandmother playing cupid from the grave, in some ways yes, and in others she is trying to lead them down the path to Christ. Loved how she touched all of her loved ones with notes and charts before her demise, and with letters after.
This is a very quick 96-page read, with a lot packed into a few short pages. Once you pick this one up, you won’t put it down until the last page is turned. I really enjoyed this story.

I received this book from net gallery amd didn't receive any compensation. All in all this was a cute Christian short story. I am a sucker for love stories. I wish there was more back story about their dating in the past. but I liked how their portrayed the characters, love hearing how they felt about the arts and music.

Good Christian fiction about love, being kept apart by family, secrets held deep in the past. All of the elements I like in a good romance and worthy of a re-read.

This book wasn't too bad. I liked the Irish setting and the lessons learned from Ruth about bitterness and forgiveness. I did think the story was a little too predictable and I was able to figure out the reasons for the animosity between Naomi's grandfather and Keith's grandparents before it was revealed. I thought that there was more of a reason for Naomi and Keith's breakup than what was revealed but it all seemed anticlimactic. There was a lot of romance in this book and for those who like short and sweet romance novels, this book is for you.
