Mommy Booknerd, 5 star review: "Dreamscape is one of those books that you wish you, yourself, could hop into and be taken away into the adventure, fantasy and setting contained within the pages. Who doesn't want to be taken on an adventure that involves danger, mystery and love in various forms... Pulioff has such a creative mind and I feel that she really captures the essence of characters that readers can relate to. Her books make you think, make you wonder and allow you to step out of the everyday world into a fascinating and exciting world filled with adventure…”
Katie Cross (Amazon Best Selling Author), 5 star review: " A fun, easy read. I LOVED the video game setting. I could practically hear the tune in the back of my head while reading the story. :) It makes me want to go watch Wreck It Ralph and play Super Mario Bro's…"
Reader's Favorite, 5 star review: "This exciting adventure is vividly brought to life through a brilliant plot and unforgettable characters set in the magical world of Dreamscape. I loved the idea of two little girls playing video games and then a girl super hero; it breaks so many stereotypes. Dreamscape: Saving Alex is not your everyday YA fantasy novel. The story brilliantly blends adventure, fantasy, action, suspense, some YA romance, and a mesmerizing setting to give you a thrilling reading experience."

This book started slow but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did because it turned out to be a fantastic book. I really enjoyed it.
I received an ARC ebook from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
Excellent — 4.5 out of 5 stars.
A sci-fi/fantasy combo, "Dreamscape: Saving Alex" relies heavily on fantasy elements to tell a compelling adventure between Alex--a real person--and the game's characters.
In summary, "Dreamscape: Saving Alex" is a good romance/adventure novel that will appeal to the fantasy audience..
I received this ARC via NetGallery.
I’ve never read a book about someone being pulled into a gaming world. I liked the unique angle it took.
Alex has just had news sprung upon her that she has to move so as she packs up she rediscovers a video game she used to play in her childhood: Dreamscape. She eventually gets sucked into the game where everyone seems to think she’s a “Golden Hero”.
I really enjoyed the growth of Alex’s character here. In the beginning she was a whiny child (albeit it was somewhat excuse by the fact she was being uprooted from her life). She was completely against the idea of being a hero when first entering the game but throughout the story her independence and self-confidence grows. Honestly, her character growth was probably the highlight of this book.
Arrow, the main love interest, was a nice book boyfriend but I didn’t find anything overly compelling. Still, the romance between the two was sweet.
Overall, this was a fast-paced action book and I enjoyed reading it.
