Featured Reviews
I always enjoy the beginning of a new series especially when it is as well written as this one. We first meet Thea living with her adoptive family after her parents were killed in a car crash. She is grieving and feeling disconnected with the world when a sudden attack forces her protectors to reveal the truth about her family and her origins. As she struggles to adapt quickly, learning new skills as well as what is expected of her in her new role she is aided by new friends and attacked by old enemies. I don't want to give away too much as this book is well worth the read and the only negative I found was the action felt a little rushed at times. Still to anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre I would say give this a try!
Enlightenment was good, but I don't think it would fit with the reading style of most of my readers. For this reason, I won't be posting a review on my blog. However, I will recommend it to the friends I have that I know would enjoy it. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to read/review Enlightenment.
