The McGraw-Hill SAT 2017 edition is a great tool for practicing for the SAT. I tutor high school students and teach them techniques for improving their scores, and I feel that the McGraw-Hill book is really useful and provides realistic exam-like questions. Everything is very straightforward, and the tips they provide are very practical. I recommend it to my students looking for help beyond our sessions.
Not having taken the SAT's in over 30 years, a lot has changed. I liked the beginning of the book with the hints/tips, as well as how the book is broken down into the different sections. Easy to understand. I did not try any of the practice tests, but do really like that the answers & the "why" are listed following each section.
