This book was a delight to read and an interesting look at the legal system of England.. I was fighting with her to get to the truth. It was a great story!

Ehhhhh...I've read worse! I'd this book was a flavor of ice cream it would be sweet cream. Not quite as memorable or desirable as vanilla but not as terrible as say...ummm...squid ink ice cream?!?!?! I don't even know. It lost my interest so many times that I lost count. I literally started planning my evening while my eyes continued to read. That's never a good sign!

The Good: It was in English and I know that language. No really, the writing was grammatically well written and the plot had a lot of potential.

The Not So Good: this really should have been a short 70 page novella. It was slow, uninteresting in parts, and took real effort to finish it.

The Verdict: 2 Stars
