Description
Old School/New School Mom is a blog that started
in 2009 by Sarah Fader when her son was 11 months old. Sarah has a fearless
voice. She says things on her blog that other people think in their minds, but
wouldn't dare say aloud. She hopes that other parents will embrace their inner
voice and be truthful with themselves. She has been seen on The Today Show,
Good Day New York and HuffPost Live. Sarah Fader is the flavor vanilla with
something unusual in it – like gummy bears, because she’s sometimes extroverted
and wants everybody to like her, but some folks are like “wait a minute, this
vanilla ice cream has gummy bears in it?! That’s weird. I don’t know about
that…” Other people love that this particular ice cream has gummy bears in it,
because it makes it more interesting and special. She blogs for The Huffington
Post and has her own column on Psychology Today called Panic life, and runs a
non-profit for mental health called Stigma Fighters.
