I was given a copy of Washout Express through the publisher and their partnership with Netgalley in exchange for my honest review which is as follows:
Daryl has hurt Bailey and she is left to pick up the pieces left to live a life different than she had planned. Soon Bailey finds herself sitting in a dinner trying to figure out how to get the Bed and Breakfast her Grandmother left her up and running again.
Bailey meets Scott West and decides to stay at his families bed and breakfast and decides to try out some of her Grandmothers recipes.
Will Bailey be able to forgive Bailey and find happiness once more with the help of the Lord?
Will she dare open her heart up to love?

Happy Reading
From beginning to end WASHOUT EXPRESS is a delightful book! I read 2-5 books a week and I must say, I enjoyed this one more than most I've read lately! Day has managed to create wonderful believable characters that make you feel as though you are reading about your best friends. Day's plot is based on a girl (Bailey) falling for the "smooth talking snake in the grass guy" who ends up swindling her out of her most important asset while asking her to time he was attempting to add his . Also, he has done quite a number on her self esteem. Bailey just happens to be riding down the road and takes the exit with a huge sign that says WASHOUT EXPRESS - Exit 477. She took the Exit because "washout" is exactly how she felt. Bailey ends up at a dinner/gas station combo called West House that faced the Washout Express across the street. It was here that she met the people that would become her lifelong friends and the interaction with these people will change the course of her life forever. I highly recommend this book!!
This was a good cozy read! I curled up and read it and was upset whenever real life interrupted me. Although I will say that everything worked out a little too well in parts, I liked the story and wanted to hear more..
This book was so good! It is well written and holds your attention. This is a wonderful inspirational story that will lift you up. Grab this book and snuggle in you favorite chair and take a trip with Bailey Brown. Thank you Pelican Book Group via NetGalley for the complimentary copy of this book. When ones path takes unexpected turns
Jody Day presents "Washout Express", the first novel in the "Express Series", published already in 2013 by Harbourlight Books - Pelican Book group. Bailey Brown not only lost her fiancé Daryl, who hurt her and especially her view of herself, and her job, but also her birthright. Furthermore, she has to figure out what to do with Pinewood Manor, the home which her grandmother left her, which had been used as a bed-and-breakfast. Driving down the road she leaves at Exit 477 - Washout Express and ends up at West House, a place which is not only a gas station but also a dinner. The people she meets there turn out to be a blessing for her, one of them being Scott West. The question that arises is where will Bailey's path ultimately lead her?
This was the first book by this author and I really liked it and recommend it to readers who like an inspirational and enjoyable clean romance that is easy to read but also offers some surprises.
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
