Editorial Review:
"There is something very mysterious about a labyrinth which gives this
fantasy fiction a refreshing perspective. It is a book that all fantasy lovers
will find addictive and thrilling." - Mamta Madhavan of Readers' Favorite
Consumer Reviews:
"This action-packed adventure pulled me in, and I found it very hard to
put the book down. I'll definitely be buying the next book in the series as
soon as it comes out."

"The Labyrinth Wall is an entertaining action book sure to keep you on the
edge of your seat as Araina and her band of new friends navigate one peril
after another. The plot point of a race of people starting on the inside of a
labyrinth, never having known anything else, and trying to get out is a new
twist to a classic tale. Emilyann Girdner weaves her story well."
H. Norbury
"A thrilling read from beginning to end. It is amazing that a first time
author would be so amazingly thorough in all aspects, from characters, plots,
to settings. The visuals it brought to mind of a singularly dystopian world
full of magic, tyranny, and the struggle for freedom and personal independence,
were simply amazing!"
Samantha
"So begins a dramatic adventure to forbidden places and extreme dangers.
Along the way they pick up a few others that join their band. This story would
make an excellent movie! The mystery is spellbinding and detail is so well
done, one can easily picture the action. Five stars!"
Dee Archer
"The overall feel of the book is a mix of Dungeons and Dragons (minus
elves and dwarves, so far) and The Hunger Games. Magic exists, and it seems to
be set in the default medieval fantasy timeframe. The story follows Araina, a
girl on the cusp of womanhood, and her quest to escape the Labyrinth. Once you
read this book, you’ll be wanting more, and more is on the way. Girdner is hard
at work on the second book already. I highly recommend this book to anyone who
enjoys YA, dystopian-apocalyptic, fantasy, quest tales, adventure, a
well-detailed setting with lots of mysterious places to explore, a book about
survival in a holocaust-like world, or any mixture thereof. I will be waiting
for the sequel, and I think you will be, too."
