Get ready for an action packed romantic suspense in which Jarod Parker endeavours to recover the stolen Fortunate Buddha after it has been stolen, retrieved, stolen again..... His intelligence points to the perpetrator of the crime being Lady Katherine Hardwicke (who friends call Kit and he nicknames Kit Kat) and he's determined to recover the artefact and return it to Thailand. When they first meet the attraction is mutual but both are extremely wary as they are unused to being honest with others, both are used to disguising their appearance and identity. Can these two ever be honest with each other and give romance a chance - especially when Louis deMonde is also chasing and threatening Kit?

The cat and mouse game between the various characters keeps this an intriguing read with plenty of twists and turns, especially as Kit tries initially to escape from both Jarod and Louis duMonde. The secrets they're keeping are driving them apart, can they learn to trust each other?

With a James Bond type hero, disguises galore, tracking, doubling back to hide and so much more, this is the first novel from this author that I've read that hasn't featured shifters - I highly recommend you check them out, too!

Many thanks to the author, publishers, NetGalley and Barclay Publicity for gifting me an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

Get ready for a Mission Impossible meets The Saint adventure.

Jarod Parker who is he really…...Some people knows him as an older gentleman, in his late 50’s with a receding hairline. Others, like Katherine knows him as an extinguish business man.

But Lady Katherine Hardwicke is going to know Jarod Parker for what he really is…. A no nonsense takes the bulls by the horns man that is after two things, the person who stole the Buddha statue, and a way to Katherine’s heart.

Hunt Me was a fun loving adventure, full of mystery and suspense. With a smart, sexy characters that will have you smiling

What I liked about Hunt Me was the banter between Jared and Katherine. The chemistry between these two was felt from the very beginning. Plus, it helped that Katherine nickname was an inside joke “Kit Kate”, if you ever watched the television show Castle you get what I mean.

If you like smart as a whip characters who keeps score, on who out does who, then Hunt Me will be the book that you should add to your reading list this summer.

Smart, sexy, fast paced, dialogue driven… Hunt Me is in my humble opinion the best of this series. Jarod and Kit a so smart and they play off of each other so well you just kick back and wait to see what they are going to say or do next. Yes, there is chemistry and the sex is hot but I really loved the word play between these two. Well worth the read.

Lady Katherine Hardwicke is a woman of many faces. Titled Aristocrat,. Successful businesswoman. Secret relic thief? The Fortunate Buddha appears to have been her latest acquired trinket. But with a long time enemy closing in, will she run out of time to keep a deathbed promise or will her unlikely ally save her?

Jarod Parker was a field agent before being pulled in to being a handler. But when K gets the drop on his agents once too often he re-enters the field. He drops the disguise and persona he uses when dealing with his agents and drops into the life of Lady Katherine as himself (admittedly with a made up back story).

This was very kind of Mission Impossible in feel! Disguises, voice changes etc. However it doesn't detract from a really well put together story with engaging characters. Jarod is fabulously cocky as the self assured agent who may just have met his match in the tricky Lady K! Katherine is wonderfully inventive in her disguises and ruses to lose the bad guy (and Jarod)!
