Fear Me, Fear Me Not

This book did not disappoint, after being eager to read this book since it first appeared on my dashboard, I managed to squeeze a spare moment in last night, which unexpectedly led me to finish the book in one sitting. All I can say is holy crap. What a rollercoaster of emotions. It had my heart in my mouth, to crying in moments. I loved the romance between Dimi and Erin, and Erin's relationship with her brother and Nadia. It made my heart soar. The drama and suspense was just enough, it was enough to keep you interested without being a overkill. The plot twist at the end had me shouting, to the point where my flat mate ran in thinking I was in trouble. This book is definitely a firm favourite, and not one for the faint hearted.

Let me start by saying that I loved this book. I liked the fact that it has so much suspense mixed with a romance. The characters were all likable. I loved the story was set in a little town by a lake. The romance story was interesting and played out the way I wanted. I can not wait to read more from this author!!!

Erin Holtz seems to have it all but appears can be deceiving. She is pretty. She is a cheerleader. But her home life has changed. Her mom is depressed and rarely leaves her bedroom. Then there is her dad; high school teacher; who is the prime suspect in the string of murders in town. And they seem to be escalating lately. All Erin wants to do is get a scholarship to leave town and attend college. But then she would have to leave behind her little brother, whom she has been taking care of since their mom is not herself and their dad has changed.

Dimitri Kuklev had it all. Until one night of drinking and partying takes it all away. Or so he thinks. He still have his life to live. Plus his family has never left his side. Add in that his little sister's best friend, Erin, seems to be showing more interest in him. But should he allow himself to give into what he truly wants? Will it ruin the friendship that he has with Erin?

When more girls go missing and bodies start turning it, things start to get weird. Dimitri is being looked at a suspect now that a couple of girls that are dead had dated him. Then when there are messages from one of the victims and Dimitri, things starts to turn for the worse. Now not only is Dimitri, the guy that Erin has been secretly in love with for years and her father are both suspects.

Can the real killer be found before more girls disappear? Will Dimitri and Erin be able to find true love in this dangers game? Or could Erin be the next victim???

Wow!!! This book was really good!!! And i enjoyed every single moment in there...
This is a young adult story full of suspense and mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the most part!!!
And it was making you wonder all the damn time who was the killer and who will his next victim... and why the hell he was acting like that!!!
The suspicions were falling in almost everyone... You could suspect even the most innocent!!!

Erin is a seventeen year old girl who is living at a town where a serial killer has chosen to be the place of his murders for 5 years in the row...
Erin seems to have it all... She is a cheerleader, she has her family and her best friend Nadia and she is about to participate in Miss Junior Queen of Hearts pageant...
But not everything is like it seems...
Erin's home is almost destroyed... Her mother is suffering from depression and her father is the main suspect as the Angel Killer... She and her little brother are struggling to get through everything alone...
Her only strength is her beloving friend Nadia and her love about Dimitri, Nadia's brother. But Dimitri doesn't seem to be interested in her...
And not only that, but the killer is changing his pattern and everything seems to be connected with her...

Dimitri's life changed after a stupid accident that changed his life forever... He used to be the football star in the highschool but after the accident, he wasn't the same anymore...
Now, he is struggling to find his place in life...
The only person who can understand him is Nadia's best friend, Erin...
A girl who is lingering inside his heart for many years now, but by whom he has to stay away from...
And now, the Angel Killer is stricking for once again and Dimitri is becoming another one suspect in the eyes of the police...

As you can understand, the book was written mainly from Erin's and Dimitri's POV, but we were having many glimpses also from the killer...
Why his pattern changed??? Why he seems to have an obsession with both Erin and Dimitri???
Is he Erin's father??? Or someone else???
Who can they trust??? And who is not who he is pretending that he is???

And for once, I have all the power.

The only thing that i can say to you is that at the same time with the murders and the agony, Dimitri and Erin were coming closer and closer...
All this mess was making them to revaluate what was worthying in life...
But there is one person who's standing between them!!! The killer...
Will they manage to get through this testament and be winners or will they lose everything???

I really enjoyed this book very much and i can't wait to read the next books!!!
I'm sure that they will be amazing as this one was...
I'm also so curious about Tessa and i really want to see Nadia happy for once again...
In some point, my heart was aching for her!!!
Ms. Nowodazkij did a great job in this novel!!!
