This book is kinda dark and cold but so good. I have so many good things to say about this book, the writing is excellent! I loved the complexity of the characters and the various situations they were put through. The complex band members and her best friend who pushed and pulled Darla out of the funk she was in and into Eric. The best friend dynamic was so relatable in this book, we all need a best friend like Stephanie. I loved the sense of adventure and danger at any moment something could happen. Darla"s father was a hero in this book, saving Eric's life and then grilling him the next day, loved it! Great, strong father figure in this book and you don't get to many of them. The end of the book I was nearly in tears as Eric was giving his speech to Darla, it was so sweet and heartfelt and you could just see how much he changed and grew as a character from the beginning to the end. What a transformation! This is not your average romance book this is way better! If you are a fan of Scarlett Cole's book The Strongest Steel you will really enjoy reading this book. I really hope there is a book on Stephanie and Blaine and it gives us a little more on what's happening with Eric and Stephaine's future!! Can't wait to read more by this author.

This book is not your average romance book. It starts out with the murder of one members of an old boy band ... and the murders and attempted murders of the band continue. Eric meets Darla at a party where the lst murder takes place. He only does one night stands, but he can't seem to keep his mind off Darla. Darla has had a crush on Eric since his boy band was popular back in her teenage years, but they are from different worlds. The twists and turns in the story kept me turning the pages. Hopefully there will be a book on Stephanie and Blaine with updates on Eric and Darla.

I received a copy of this book from Wild Rose Press through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Rocker meets reality. Death, corruption, love, and sex. Interesting murder mystery. I skipped over the intimate sexual details, but enjoyed the suspense and action.

I enjoyed this book from the first page to the last. I love the fact that the author created a character with a Scottish accent. How can you not love an accent? The characters had great chemistry and I did not want to put the book down.
