Description
Quincy Ryan was just handed custody of a son he didn’t know existed. He knows how to be an architect, not a dad, so he looks to his own father for guidance, but that means moving with Pops to Marietta, Montana. Quincy knows he has to get over his shock and give Atlas the Christmas he deserves, but how? He needs a miracle.
Struggling actress Nicki Darren will take any job as Christmas approaches, even babysitting for a withdrawn, workaholic, single father. She identifies with four-year-old Atlas. She also lost her mom as a child and hasn’t had a real Christmas since.
An Advent calendar of activities soon has Nicki pulling Quincy out of the house to get a tree and ice skate with his son. She wants Quincy to open his heart to the boy, but as they countdown to Christmas Eve, she begins to fall for the Ryan men herself. If only the miracle Quincy is looking for included her…

This book was an enjoyable story. It stars Niki, a down and out actress who is also a home care worker. She quits Hollywood and comes back to Murietta and on the way finds a job for a few weeks with a new father. Quinnjust found out he has a 4 year old and with a new move, a father and a new son to take care of his plate is pretty full.
Enter Niki who is very Mary Poppins like. She manages to get Qinn to connect to his dad and his son and meanwhile they fall in love. It was an enjoyable story. Very light on sex scenes and also light on romance. Quinn and Niki are mostly employee/employer and then friends and when they aren't looking fall in love.
I like books with a lot more sex and passion but even so this was enjoyable story and it was well written.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for an honest review.
This is the 5th book in the Love in Montana books but I haven't read the earlier books and it didn't make a difference to me. I found this story to be sweet, romantic and touching. I loved all the characters, especially little Atlas, he was so cute. Although this is a shorter story it still feels complete and I loved the epilogue. This is not a very deep story but I felt that there was a good amount of information to connect me to all the characters and really like them. A great Christmas story, well worth reading, the synopsis says it all, so I won't add to it other than to say there is no cheating and it is a dual point of view which I always love.
I loved everything about this book. All the story lines tied together nicely and I didn't want it to end. All the main characters were wonderful and ever growing.
Heartwarming Christmas story
Nicki Darren drives into Marietta, Montana leaving L.A. far behind. She had gone there wanting to be an actress and found out it was not an easy profession to break into.
So she stops in Marietta for a short-term job - helping out an older man with diabetes and Atlas, his four year-old grandson. What she doesn't expect are the sparks that fly when she meets Quincy Ryan, Atlas' father.
And introvert Quincy doesn't expect exuberant, bouncy Nicki to draw him into the Christmas activities she has planned for his son and his father.
These characters felt very real to me and I love Christmas and Christmas stories (especially romances).
I liked this story and hadn't read any prior books in this series and didn't feel like I missed out on enjoying this story because of that.
I especially appreciated the epilogue.
I received this book from Tule Publishing through Net Galley in exchange for my unbiased review.
Nicki was returning to Montana after finally trading in her dreams for reality. It wasn’t that hard of a choice, really. But the sting of not making her younger dreams come true hadn’t yet lost it’s bite entirely. What she was doing now fit her personality, and she enjoyed her work in the medical field. This short term job was perfect for what she needed now. If she could calm her nerves and put those acting skills to work in showing a professional, confident face to her new employer. Which was proving difficult as she faced the handsome, silent man filling the doorway.
To say that Quincy was shell shocked, out of his comfort zone and just a bit miffed would be an understatement. In the space of a few short weeks he had discovered he had a child, that the woman he’d once been in a relationship with had, it seemed, planned to become pregnant despite his statement that he wanted no kids, his child’s mother had died leaving him with full custody of a child he didn’t know existed until recently and he’d moved across country with his father and son to the newly purchased home that had once belonged to his father. Yeah. it was beyond a bit of a change for them all.
Now he was faced with allowing this beautiful, bubbly, chatty woman to care for his father and his son… what in the world had he gotten himself into?
His Christmas Miracle is such a loving, family romance. Sound strange? Not really. This isn’t about a man and a woman falling in love. This story is all about falling in love with a family. Father and son. Man and woman. Woman and child. Family love. The men of the Ryan family need the special touch of Nicki and each responds to her inclusion in their lives differently, but every guy loves this woman, simply as different aspects of their lives. And none want her to ever leave them.
Nicki has the life she always wanted right in this house. She also has the chance that she never believed she’d ever get to fulfill her dream. The love of one silent, gruff and changing man will make that decision for her. And what a loving couple they make. This one had me in tears, both the sad, the wishful and the happy tears that only a really good story that touches the heart can produce. I absolutely loved this couple and their romance. It’s a story that I know I’ll be re-reading for many Christmas seasons to come.
If you’re ready to have your heart stolen by an adorable child who already has found his true love, and you’re looking for a really feel good Christmas romance then His Christmas Miracle is exactly what you need to pick up this holiday as a treat for yourself. I would highly recommend any story in this series, but especially this story. It will melt your heart and have you believing in some Christmas miracles as well.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this novel. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this story.*
His Christmas Miracle (Love in Montana, Book 5) read well as a stand-alone, so do not let it saying it is book 5 deter you if you haven’t had the opportunity to read the first 4 books. This is a fun Christmas story in true Marietta style.
Dani Collins has given us an hero who was bullied early in life by others, then paired him with an exultant heroine who refuses to let life beat her down. Life is full of surprises with some being true gifts of grace in disguise. That is how I would sum up Quincy’s predicament with his father and son Atlas. Without those he could never have had the wonderful relationship that developed between grandfather son and grandson. In addition, it is through them that he meets Nicki. What a wonderful read seeing how she changes lives for the better while coming to terms with her own. Christmas story, yes, but the underlying concepts are great for anytime of the year.
Discovering that someone he'd dated for a few months has been killed in a car crash is bad enough but then finding out that she had your son and never told you about his existence is a bigger one -especially as you're now responsible for him! That's what happened to the introverted Quincy Ryan.
Nicole Darren was an aspiring actress who has been told by her agent that she's now too old for her to represent. Following that bombshell, Nicole decided a change of jobs was needed, so she trained as a nursing aide. Now she's left the sunny climes of California to return to wintry Montana and is hoping that Quincy will employ her to help look after both his diabetic father and his young son, Atlas.
As bubbly Nicole works with the family, she tries to help the new father and his son to connect by creating a very unique Advent calendar of activities and events, helping them connect with each other and introducing them to the community. Can she help them settle into their new home and lives together whilst still endeavouring to ignore the attraction she feels towards Quincy and the love she has for his young, traumatised son? Can Quincy open up to admit how he feels about her? Dow their love stand a chance?

This beautiful love story is not just about a love between a man and a woman, but also between a father and his newly discovered child. The fact that it centers around the holiday season just makes it that much sweeter.
Nikki is everything Quincy is not...bubbly, funny, a chatterbox to his serious, almost taciturn self. So we also have an opposites attract theme going on. Nikki wants to help Quincy open his arms and his heart to Atlas and uses an advent calendar to do it. From getting a Christmas tree to making their own wrapping paper, each days is designed to bring father and son closer.
Nikki, with a little help from Pops, Quincy's dad, tries to bring together the Ryan men to form a tight unit... one that be Nikki herself longs to be a part of, while dealing with her own disappointments with her family and failed acting career.
Can the magic of The season and Santa's little helper perform a Christmas miracle for all you involved? The odds are good in this latest installment of the Love in Montana series. There's even a few visits from characters of stories past :)
Great writing, lovely theme, intriguing characters. A 4.5 star read
While I loved Quincy and Nicki in this book, the real star of it was four year old Atlas. Is there any more heartbreak for him than to lose his mom and the only grandparents he knows send him to live with a dad he never met and never knew Atlas had existed? But this kid will melt your heart strings with the progress he shows after Quincy hires Nicki temporarily. Nicki is a former want to be actress who spent the last year going to school to work with the elderly. Quincy hires her to help her dad and also nanny over Atlas after their recent move. But Nicki is only there until Christmas Eve. She sets out to help Atlas and help the three of them become a family before she heads home to her own. But when the chance of a lifetime comes along, will she be willing to give it all up?
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy provided by NetGalley.
Oh my, I am still in awe of all the feelings and emotional upheaval the author created without a negative spill or angst-filled tale. Instead, His Christmas Miracle is heartwarming, touching, delightful story, that fills you with Christmas cheer, that longing that builds up through the advent till Christmas Eve arrives, there is love, yearning, and joy, there's children, family and friends, and sorrow and awkward moments, everything that most families and Christmases have.
One of the highlights of the story was to see Quincy grow to be a dad, a wonderful dad nonetheless. His relationship with Atlas was a tear-streaker, as much from the joy watching them find each other and falling in love as father and son as from Atlas mourning for his mom.
Nicki was a ray of sunshine, perky, happy and full of love. She and Quincy were the opposite of each other but in a way that when together they were complete.
I loved every moment of this story, I inhaled it on one sitting with tissues close by. This story will be one of those I want to revisit again and it will stay with me for awhile. As much as I read, it is impossible to remember each story I read, but every year few gets close to the heart so that they make an impression and stay. The speech problems of Quincy and Atlas, their introverted personality, their big hearts and sweet minds sneaked into my heart like they did to Nicki, and took hold.
If you ever wonder how to make most out of the December and Advent time, the build up for the Christmas, this story with the event Advent calendar has ideas that don't only sound fun things to do but will bring the people doing closer to each other, and underline the meaning of Christmas.
A wistful and wondrous story of family, loss and love, Christmas time, and of a brilliant idea for an Advent calendar that makes the love bloom and flourish bringing joy to everyone's hearts.

Loved this story!! Shows the true magic of Christmas. Quincy became an instant father to a son that he didn't know he had, he looks to his father for guidance. He moves to Marietta to be with his dad, he hires Nicki, down on her luck actress to help with the care of his father and his son, Atlas. What Nicki does is brings magic into the holiday season and brings Quincy and Atlas closer together. As she brings this family closer together, her heart opens up to Quincy too.
There is so much to love in this story, all of the Christmas activities. Loved the growing relationship between Quincy and Nicki, and Atlas is just so darn cute. I highly recommend you add this book to your holiday reading.
This book was predictable, but adorable. I love happy endings!
Nicki Darren takes a short-term job helping Quincy Ryan, who has just moved to Marietta with his diabetic father and his four-year-old son that he just found out about. Nicki and Quincy are two very different personalities that fight their growing attraction. The star of this holiday romance is the advent calendar Nicki makes for Atlas. Through the calendar the charm and Christmas spirit of Marietta is showcased. Quincy is also able to connect with his son and embrace his new role of being a father as they enjoy the activities from the calendar.
I hadn't read any prior books in this series and didn't feel like I missed out on enjoying this story because of that. I liked that the chapters are by date, mostly following the Advent Tree theme. The epilogue was special as we caught up with the family two years later. The author also supplies a link to make an Advent Calendar similar to the one in the story.

Quincy Ryan hadn’t known that an ex-girlfriend of his had become pregnant and given birth to a son, Atlas. But now that she is gone Quincy finds himself with custody of the young boy with no idea of how to be a father so Quincy decides to move to Marietta, Montana to be near his own father to help with his new son.
After failing at her dream of becoming an actress Nicki Darren finds herself in Marietta looking for any kind of work she can find. Meeting Quincy and finding his need for help with his four year old son Nicki jumps at the chance to take the job since she had lost her own mother at a young age and immediately felt for the young boy. Quincy soon finds that Nicki is just what was needed in his and his young son’s life to bring them all closer together.
His Christmas Miracle by Dani Collins is the fifth book in the Love in Montana series set in the charming town of Marietta, Montana during the holiday season. This one features something that I adore when it comes to romance, not only the couple involved bonding but the child in the relationship coming in first before the thoughts of developing a relationship.
As with other Marietta, Montana books there are glimpses into previous characters from the other books and glimpses into this small town and it’s charm especially during the holiday season. Another lovely romance read in this somewhat magical town that always seems to end up with such heartwarming results.
I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley.
Nicki Darren gave up her dream of being an actress. Now she's coming home to Montana. What she needs most is a job. She has an interview with Quincy Ryan. Can she convince him that she's the person he needs? Nicki is a loving, caring woman. She wants to help Quincy connect with his little boy. He's in shock. He just learned that he's a father. Atlas is lost in grief. His mother just died and he doesn't know this man. This family needs her help. His Christmas Miracle is an emotional story that had me in tears. Nicki is an amazing character with her spirit and loving heart. Quincy is unsure and afraid. He doesn't know how to be a father. It was wonderful to see him open his heart to his little boy and become a real dad. I love coming to Marietta especially at the holidays. Dani Collins wrote a wonderful story that warmed my heart and awakened my holiday spirit.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
His Christmas Miracle is another winner from Dani Collins. This gentle Christmas story is about hope, happiness and healing for all the protagonists.
I empathised with Nicki from the moment I met her. Despite not achieving the success she'd hoped for as an actress, this girl has guts and perseverance and she cares about people.
Quincy took a little longer to get under my skin. He is an insular soul and socially gauche to the point that I wondered for a bit whether he was autistic. As I got to know Quincy I came to understand and care about him.
Lesser characters play an important role in this story. Quincy's father Maury loves his son and grandson fiercely and it shows.
I loved the plot, in which Nicki works hard to provide a memorable Christmas for a sad little boy, in the process helping Quincy to bond with his son while at the same time her own somewhat battered self-esteem is patched up as this little family grows into a tight knit unit.
This story really moved me. I suspect it may have been a hard one to write, however I think Dani Collins succeeded well.
This book reminded me of a Hallmark movie channel book. The Christmas setting, the down and out ex-actress looking to find work. Quincy the new father, who just found out he had a son when the mother died. Nicki is hired as the Nanny and sets up to bring Quincy and his son Atlas together.
Nicki plans all sorts of Christmas spirit events using an advent calendar and they slowly become a family. If you love Christmas themed movies and books, which I do, you will love this book too.
This was a nice love story that kind of snuck up on itself (and the participants) but was sure fun to watch unfold.
I thought this story was so darn sweet. I loved that more often than not he had no idea what to do with his son, or how to love him, but more so I love how while parenting may not have come easily, loving the little boy did. My heart was tugging when Atlas would ask after Nikki, but it was nothing compared to when she left. I could feel it breaking right along with his as he realized that yet another person was leaving him. I really did find this story enjoyable, and I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas story.
Sweet Christmas read it's not lol light and fluffy good book for the holiday season
I received this arc from Netgalley for an honest review.
This is a great way to kick off the holiday season. When Quincy discovers he is a father and now legal guardian to a young boy, he is shocked. He moves in with his dad in a small town and hires Nikki to help take care of his father and his child. Nikkei starts an advent calendar and brings Christmas spirit to the broken family. When she starts to have feelings for her boss, she is worried but finds out he feels the same. When a acting opportunity in Texas opens up, she must decide what's most important to her.
Another story in the Marietta, Montana saga, this has to be one of the most touching Christmas stories I've read so far. There are such deep emotions running throughout the story of a man discovering he's a father and learning how to be one along the way...with the help from a sweetly, loving woman.
The author's remarkable attention to detail brings the story to life, as with all of Ms Collins books, not only are the character dynamics so very real, but the visuals she creates through her writing is a gift...a little boy with staticky hair from removing a hat, or having put on a sweater...are the small things that bring life to these stories.
I would recommend the Love In Montana series to anyone looking for a dose of good old Christmas cheer!
This book was provided by the Publisher and Netgalley, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
This was a lovely sweet story that is perfect for the holiday season. I really enjoyed the relationships and the story that totally captured me from the start. I would absolutely recommend this for a holiday read and would even enjoy seeing this as a made for tv movie.
There is something about Tule Publishing's Montana based books that gives readers that real happy-ever-after, heartwarming, feel good moments that are just addicting and Dani Collin's His Christmas Miracle is no exception. This holiday novella with its winning combination of very lovable characters, both main and secondary, simple plot that is no less complex and multilayered in its writing and the theme of Christmas and family is guaranteed to keep readers warm and cheerful during the cold winter season. His Christmas Miracle will make you a bit weepy, extremely cheerful and definitely believing in happily ever afters.
Such a sweet Christmas romance with all the right ingredients... a handsome man, a precious little boy and a special woman. FULL REVIEW posted via this link.
This is a fairly typical offering from Dani Collins as part of her Love in Montana series for Tule. The story is sweet with the romance a little steamy.
Quincy Ryan has just moved to Marietta with his widowed dad who was brought up in the rural town. The trigger for Quincy is the discovery that a woman he had a brief relationship with years ago died and left behind a son. His son he never knew about.
Nicky is coming back to Montana after years of trying to make it in Hollywood. Reality forced her to retrain as an aged carer and she comes as a temporary helper for Quincy's dad and his new son.
The story is simple. Nicky has only a few weeks to help out this all male household to adjust to their new life. Quincy is a computer whizz and a bit hopeless with the whole emotion stuff, so this is her biggest challenge. With the use of a homemade advent calendar and her own perky personality, she has until Christmas.
How this works makes for an engaging story with a group of endearing characters. A nice addition to the series.
Nicki's life didn't turn out the way she had hoped, instead of living her dream she ended up working at a nursing home. She decided to go back home, but to make some money decided to apply for the nanny position on the way home. Quincy recently found out that he's a father to a 4-year old boy Atlas. Atlas's mom died in a car accident and Quincy has a full custody of the boy. Due to the changes in his life, he moves in with his father, where he wants to find a nanny to Atlas, because his father is not capable of taking care of him full time. Quincy and Nicki are complete opposites, Quincy is quiet and introverted whereas Nicki is outgoing, bubbly and chatty. Quincy is learning to be a dad and that's how having Nicki around is doing good for everyone. Nicki is bringing the whole family together and in the process Quincy and she develop feelings as well. Will they have a future together after all?
It was a very sweet story set in a small town. I really liked the author's writing style and the characters felt very realistic and relatable. It's definitely a great story to read at Christmas time.
Quincy wasn't looking to become a parent soon but now he has custody of four year old Atlas. Being a single parent will be difficult with his work so he decided to move in with his father in Marietta, Montana. He needs someone to take care of his father and his son. His son has been with Quincy has been living together for awhile but they are not use to each other yet.
Nikki was looking for any job and lands a job with Quincy being nanny/housekeeper. Nikki slowly warms to Atlas and she is trying to engage Quincy with his son.
Not only Nikki getting closer to Atlas, she is getting to know Quincy. However, he is difficult to figure out. Atlas finally opens up to Nikki and Quincy is too.
But their time as expiration date. Will they finally find a happiness being a family or will Quincy let Nikki go?
It was cute and delightful story and perfect for holiday!!! Loved all the characters.
