Jenny Noa was born in New Jersey, went to school in Pennsylvania, survived six winters in Chicago, and then moved to LA. It was there that she (half-heartedly) pursued acting, did a lot of improv, read essays to anyone who'd listen, and came to terms with what wouldn't be. After a move to the Bay Area just when the world was locking down, she decided to preserve her best essays in a collection that grew over time into a memoir on dreaming, derailments, and discovery.
