Thank you for your interest in Riptide Publishing. We will auto-approve requests from book buyers of adult titles, librarians with purchasing power for adult titles, library program managers, adult educators (18+ students) in relevant disciplines (romance studies, gender studies, LGBTQ studies, etc.), reviewers for dedicated review sites or publications, and audio-book and foreign publishers. We will carefully consider all other requests.
Please include the following information for all requests:
If you are a reviewer, a link to your review, media, or organization site; a contact email; and a link to past reviews you have written (if you are the sole blogger on your site, your site link will suffice).
If you are a freelance reviewer, please provide a link to the publication you will be reviewing for.
If you are a librarian or book buyer, please provide the name, location, and URL for your library, store, or school, as well as your position within your organization.
If you are seeking subsidiary rights, please include the name, address, and URL of your organization, your contact email, and your position.
If you are a blogger, blog posts should be current and active, and your blog should be at least three months old.
--Where applicable, please provide the number of unique monthly visitors to your site.
--Where applicable, please include social media information (Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads, etc.), including links and follower numbers.
--If you cross-post your review to Amazon, Goodreads, B&N, or other sites, please mention this; we are more likely to approve requests from reviewers who cross-post.
--If you are a blogger or reviewer and your request is approved, you must write a review of the title you requested. (Librarians, educators, book buyers, and subsidiary rights seekers need not write a review.) Please send your finished review via NetGalley and include the name of the publication/blog, the link (for online reviews), and the date when the review will be published. If you are unable to post a review for any reason, please contact us via NetGalley to let us know why.
We ask that reviews be posted no more than 30 days prior to the book’s publication date, no more than 30 days after the book’s publication date (for advance review copies only; reviews of backlist titles may be posted at any time within six months of your request), and that all online reviews include a link to the book page on the publisher’s website.
