Catapult, Counterpoint, and Soft Skull Press have distinct editorial teams but share marketing, publicity, design, and production resources. Catapult publishes literary fiction and narrative nonfiction which provides a platform to voices—emerging and established—that honor the craft of writing. Counterpoint's list covers a wide array of genres—fiction and nonfiction, poetry, and anthologies, all of which collectively focus on current affairs and politics, counterculture, music, history, the environment, memoir, literary biography, religion, and philosophy. Soft Skull Press publishes books of every genre that engage art, culture, and current events in new and radical ways. All three imprints are committed to publishing diverse voices and literature in translation.

Thank you for your interest in Catapult / Counterpoint / Soft Skull Press books! We encourage and approve all requests which meet the following criteria, however, we reserve the right to accept or decline requests on a case-by-case basis.
Approval criteria for US/Canada based trade professionals:
= Booksellers: please indicate if you are an ABA member and include the name and address of the bookstore where you work
- Librarians: please indicate if you are an ALA member and include both the name address of the library where you work
- Media professionals and journalists with verified and regularly updated content
Approval criteria for US/Canada based reviewers/bloggers:
- Reviewers/bloggers with established, active blogs and strong social media presence with link(s) provided (at least 2k+ followers)
- Reviewers/bloggers who have earned Netgalley’s gold V badge, an 80% ratio badge, and/or 200-500+ reviews badge
- Reviewers/bloggers with 60% or higher “Feedback Provided" percentage
Approval criteria for US/Canada based educators:
- Educators who have earned Netgalley’s gold V badge, an 80% ratio badge, and/or 200-500+ reviews badge
- Educators with 60% or higher "Feedback Provided" percentage
- Educators who have noted their exceptional means for engaging students and/or faculty with our books and authors

- share your email address so that we may reach out to you
- include the name and address of the bookstore/library/school/publication/organization/etc. where you work
- check your profile to ensure it is up-to-date and reflects your current review platform(s) with links and descriptions
- pay close attention to the territories a title is available in; we will need to decline a request if you do not reside in a territory where we hold rights

- send us your thoughtful, candid review via NetGalley; please include the name of where your review will be posted along with any relevant links and the run date for when the review will be published
= share/post to your online outlet(s), keeping the title’s pub date in mind, and tagging our Instagram, Twitter and Goodreads accounts when applicable
