Single dad AND best friends sister?! Say less. This book was everything I was wanting and then some. Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved this Christmas romance! The characters were perfect for each other, the overall vibes were so warm and cozy. This book was hard to put down and is perfect for the season!
Unfortunately dnf’d this very early on. The humor just was annoying and corny, I don’t think I could’ve pushed through it to enjoy the story. I think older audiences might enjoy this more than I did.
Love the title and the cover art. This is a fun holiday romance. Hayden is...a bit much. He wants to talk. A lot. He seems to have big feelings and wants to talk about them all. the. time. It's a bit draining. So much of his talk is over the top--no man would say those things let alone think them. Very unrealistic. I liked Charlotte. She's very loving and easy to love. It's a quick read and definitely will get you in the holiday spirit. Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC
I really enjoyed this Christmas story. I like the main characters and thought the side characters added to the story in interesting ways.
Hayden and Charlotte are the cutest! I’m feeling festive! Christmas Sweater Weather by Jaqueline Snowe is the perfect read to get you into the holiday spirit! I love the competitions that happen in this story- all Christmas related of course. And it’s set at a ski resort so it’s got that cozy, winter wonderland feel! It makes me want to put up my Christmas tree and bake some cookies in my ugly Christmas sweater.
A cute Hallmark-esque book. Love the brother’s best friend trope, but there wasn’t a lot of build-up to the relationship. I wish it was more of a slow-burn romance. The snowy ski resort setting is super cozy, but other than that, not very Christmasy. Also, the conflicts in the story felt unnecessary. The first half of the book is so cute, but the rest fell flat for me.
I was so excited to read this, and it fell completely flat for me.
Hayden was not a good MMC. He was selfish and short sighted, and didn't appreciate Charlotte. He gaslit and was inconsistent, and I wanted to shake some sense into Charlotte. She was a great FMC who deserves more than her brother's shitty best friend.
The whole story had potential - the premise was good and the cast of characters were solid. I found a few inconsistencies that irked me, and it just generally rubbed me the wrong way.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Forever Grand Central Publishing for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Christmas Sweater Weather was a fun, holiday romcom with an open door policy, so be aware of that going in. I read this one really fast and could not wait to see what happened next and how it would end. I liked the representation of women in coaching so that was also a fun bonus to the book. It does have miscommunication and complication but it all works out so its ok.
Big thanks to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for this ARC! I love a holiday romance.
Unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. It was a bit too predictable and obvious. I wanted more character development, and the conflict felt a bit contrived.
Cozy ski resort decked to the gills for Christmas and brothers best friend is a combo I can get excited about.
I didn’t always love the writing style and felt like I had to reread a lot of passages to get a simple message but could also just be my brain this time of year.
If you’re looking to cozy up with a holiday read look here!
I really like this Christmas holiday romance. I liked Charlotte and her determination with her job and wanting to be there for her brother even when Hayden, the boy who rejected her was there. I LOVED Hayden and getting his perspective
This is a super cute book about a girl who falls in love with her brother's best friend. They have always known each other. They try to ignore their feelings for each other, but it's no use. The story takes place at a ski resort during Christmas, and it's all very cozy and festive. If you're looking for a cute and Christmassy read, this is the book for you!
This was a really cute book, but I found it extremely predictable. I also really felt like there were loose ends left unanswered at the end, so was a little disappointed.
Thanks so much for the early copy!
This holiday romance had it all!
🎄Brothers Best Friend
❤️Single Dad
🎄Second Chance after barely first
❤️Hidden Forbidden Romance
🎄Forced Proximity
Charlotte and Hayden have always had the underlying possibility of something more than being just her older brothers best friend.
But when Hayden is finishing college and baseball athlete dreams that possibility never has a chance as he becomes a father and college coach....for the school Charlotte attends.
Flash forward to Charlotte brothers bachelor/bachelorette Holiday getaway where Hayden and her are finally reunited and given time alone. ❤️ I loved the way they cared for each and Charlotte gave Hayden the ability to trust and receive support with baby girl.
A holiday treat of found family, second chance romance with a single Dad in the mix.
UM HELLO this book was so good??? The tension, the little stolen moments, the funny moments, i LOVED the main characters and i was DYING of laughter throughout the whole book.
This was a very sweet first love//siblings best friend love story with lots of sexiness and some sweetness too. I enjoyed the characters and pace of the book overall, and of course as an Christmas lover, loved the way the Calhouns embraced it!
I really liked the start of this book! It was fun and felt like a light hearted Christmas romance. Unfortunately it got really slow after the first few chapters and felt somewhat repetitive at times. And if I had to read Charlotte call Hayden daddy (referring to him being an actual dad) I was gonna hurl. Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
As always Jaqueline Snowe did such an amazing job!! This was such a great Christmas book to get lost in. I always love the characters' banter Jaqueline creates and how their relationship developed. Jaquelines writing style is one of my favorites, once released I instantly purchased my own trophy copy to add to my bookshelves!
Such a cute book. This one was like a warm hug. I loved all the characters, the plot, the love, the cheesyness, all of it. Such a good holiday read.
