Beautiful book. The perfect introduction to Ayurveda. I loved the layout, it can be read cover to cover or just dipped into. The balance of information was just right. I definitely want to know more. There are lots of things I want to try too. One thing that I particularly loved was the more spiritual approach to the yoga poses. Most western approaches leave you feeling a bit empty, it is more about the exercise and just stringing the poses together but this book really got to the heart of the poses. The illustrations were beautiful too. I definitely want to own the hardcopy. Thank you

The Aruveda Way: 108 Practices from the World’s Oldest Healing System for Better Sleep, Less Stress, Optimal Digestion, and More by Anita Ripa Ajmera is a wonderful introduction to a beautiful healing system.

This book is broken up into four parts. Part one shows us how to use food to heal our bodies and be naturally beautiful. Part two shows us how to change our mind to change the way we live. Part three shows us how to love ourselves. Part four shows us how to use Aruveda in our daily lives and live in harmony with nature.

This is a beautiful book, the pictures are exquisite and it is beautiful in itself as well as the content is beautiful. I think anyone interested in healing techniques would enjoy this book. It would be a great book to sit by the ocean and read as both have immense beauty and healing abilities. I highly recommend it.

I acknowledge that I received this book free of charge from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest and unbiased review of it.

I was already familiar wuth Ayurveda before reading this book but I still learned a lot. The foundation of this book is aboutliving in balance. The author herself has had health imbalances in the past so the book reflects how these practices helped her journey. This is a very new reader friendly book, I finished this book with a shopping list and some wonderful mindful meditations to add to my daily routines

This book - YES! We've already preordered a hardcover version of it. It has all the basic principles, broken down for someone who is vaguely familiar with, but only has a loose understanding of, Ayurveda. Everything is neatly explained, without condescension, and real world examples are provided. While there are a few ingredients that we'd need to use a specialty store for, the vast majority of recipes also uses everyday household items.
