This book. This book GOT me! It totally Got ME! I LOVED it. If you are a gamer, a lover of books, a fan of television shows and movies like Star Wars, you will love this book too. It was fun. It made me laugh. I felt like I was part of the main character's social group. This book would be a good read for parents with teenagers that are into to these things and talk about Comic-Con. It would really give them some much-needed insight. The main character, Morgan, goes with a friend to her first Comic-Con and meets Dex. They are both instantly intrigued with one another and the book goes back and forth between their viewpoints as the story unfolds. The characters felt real and I found the story to be engaging and enjoyable.

Level Me Up was SO good! I loved every minute of it. The banter between the characters was so good, and the chemistry between Morgan and Dec was amazing! I highly recommend!

If you are a nerd, read this book. If you are dating or married to a nerd, read this book. If you have a friend who is a nerd, read this book. If you have even been in love very young and it scared the crap out of you, read this book. The debut book by Lauren Helms is full of humor and romance and being a nerd who has been to a Con or two in my time, I found every joke, scene, and character not only spot-on but also entertaining to read. I really enjoyed Helms' writing style and look forward to reading more books by her hopefully in the near future.
