Description
Four brothers. James the strong and sure. Rafe the irresponsible rake.
Oliver the cold and clinical. Then there was William. William the
honorable Knight in Shining Armor.
After years of ignoring the
whispered rumors about his disreputable family, William has a plan. His
dream of becoming a solider will bring respect to the family name, and
help England forget decades of mishaps. Everything in his carefully
constructed life is going as planned, until he meets Lillian. From the
moment she steps from the carriage he knows she belongs to him. But how
can their passionate affair lead to a happily ever when she’s already
engaged to his cousin?
*A Dangerous Deception is a historical romantic saga spanning a decade with the same couple. Because of sexual content, this book is for eighteen years and older.
Advance Praise
halo424- "Amazing book that takes you from Heartbreak to HEA. I loved the story coming from both points of view and it was simply wonderful. I had moments where I was bawling my eyes out to extreme joy."
P. Kinyon- "A
Dangerous Deceptions is dark and somewhat convoluted, hardly the
light-hearted reading fare I prefer, but the story compelled me to
finish it. My dislike of Charles and several other characters deepened
as the story progressed. MANY of the characters are deeply - and
disturbingly - flawed. Historically, the overwhelming arrogance of the
men in this tale was probably accurate, but my heart ached for Lillian
throughout the book. Events are satisfactorily wrapped up at the end,
but potential troubles are not glossed over with the "happily ever
after" brush. With their history, I suspect William and Lillian will be
content simply to have the chance for happiness."
