Exactly what it says, nothing more nothing less. Wanting some spicy holiday theme spanking? This is the perfect collection for you. Expect steamy short reads that are perfect if you don’t have a lot of time. Even if you don’t like one story, move onto the next. There is a story for everyone (barring those who aren’t into this type of thing, in which case, why are you looking?)

Spanksgiving is a book of vignettes. It gives us a day in the life as brought forth by different authors. Each vignette focuses on a spanking either for pleasure, punishment or both. The only exception was Ms. Blacio's story which is a novelette. Spanked by Her Stepbrother by Trinity Blacio is her contribution to this anthology. Laney has decided to give her mother one last shot this Thanksgiving. But when she gets there and learns her mother hasn't changed she is done. She never expected to find Kelton. Kelton is only visiting to please his father. Finding his mate wasn't in the cards. But now can he convince her to give him a chance? I really enjoyed meeting Kelton and Laney. Laney needs the discipline Kelton longs to give but is she ready for what that really entails? I loved that Laney need what Kelton could offer her. But finding the courage to accept her needs is hard at least with Laney's history. But Kelton was more than ready for the job. I enjoyed this story even as parts seemed a bit rushed. However, having said that, I hope Ms. Blacio will revisit this world as she opened so many possibilities.

Fun collection of spanking stories

Lori Perkins has put together a varied collection of spanking short stories. From aliens to shifters, Doms and Dommes, something for everyone. My favorite was part of Renee Rose and Lee Savino's Bad Boy Alpha series, the bonus scene from Alpha's Temptation, "Love in the Elevator". I love getting to revisit old characters. Jackson and Kylie's love for one another comes shining through the pages as does their passion for one another. Sexy spanking, sexy lovemaking, definately a story not to miss.

Steamy Reads! I wide range of steamy reads where a punishment is going to be served up. The stories are fast-paced and hot. I great way to find some new authors and a great way to heat up your night. I really liked it!

I really enjoyed the stories and filled me with excitement great opener to bdsm I did not mind the spanking but that is all I would like But great for single men and women as well as lovers alike

This was a really good read. Some were better than others. I had my favourites. 4*. Netgalley and Riverdale avenue books.

Spanksgiving is an anthology (164 pages), edited by Lori Perkins which includes 9 short stories with spanking. As with most anthologies, the included stories are a mixed lot. They're all consensual and M/F pairings with both men and women on the receiving end.

There are some continuing characters whose stories form bonus scenes from other works, such as a bonus scene from Bad Boy Alphas #1, and another short installment from Trinity’s Blacio's naughty stepbrothers series (bonus for folks who love shifter romance).

One of the reasons I really love anthologies is that there's always something that appeals to readers for further reading. I found several of the included stories both appealing and sweetly spicy.

There were, however, a few places in the text where typos or grammar mistakes jerked me out of the story, for example a typo where 'you're' was substituted for 'your'. I know I'm a nerd. This probably won't bug most readers.

Four stars

These are little short stories by a variety of authors, and as such some of them are better than others. However, if you are looking for a little holiday themed entertainment, then this should fit the bill.
