“This inspiring devotional shares 90 meditations pointing you to reliance on God and the truths of His Word, and challenging you to respond to His call to live a life that honors Him”.
This is a wonderful God inspired devotional book filled with 90 devotions by a variety of different authors. Each devotion has at least one scripture verse to review and insights to ponder.
The authors span a number of generations and they all share a beautiful legacy of faith, family and hope in a loving God regardless of circumstances including stories of ancestors who were slaves, farmers, pastors and educators.
This book of devotions would be perfect to do as a family, in a Bible study or as a daily alone time with Jesus. I am always looking for solid Biblical devotionals and this one is just about perfect. I have not previously read a multi-cultural devotional before but I am so glad I read this one. I highly recommend reading this book as I will certainly do so again!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have
Inspiring!
These devotionals provide a rich opportunity to share real-life situations that reflect the truth of the day’s Scripture reading. Each of the authors share a personal experience of their own or of someone else that allowed the person to experience struggle. In turn, this struggle led to an acknowledgement of victory when it related to the truth of Scripture. These devotionals would be an encouragement in personal or group study as well as in presentations.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Outstanding!!! I love this devotional. I love that this devotional is comprised of various authors, and there is a theme throughout. There is also the bible verse and words to give you something to meditate/think on. The authors are of various generations, so it was refreshing to read their take on the themes. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.
