Anna has a problem! There's a monkey who goes everywhere with her--even to school! He never leaves Anna alone. He makes so much trouble for her that she wonders if she will ever finish the third grade, but she learns that her monkey can give her some surprising help if she lets it.
This book is designed for parents and educators to read with their dyslexic children and students to help them understand both the difficulties and the benefits (their monkey) that accompany dyslexia and other learning difficulties. Reading and discussing this book together will encourage children to vocalize their own feelings about having a learning difference.

Don M. Winn is a multiple award-winning children’s author of thirteen picture books and the Sir Kaye the Boy Knight® series of novels for independent readers. As a dyslexia advocate and a dyslexic himself, he frequently addresses parents and educators on how to maximize the value of shared reading time and how to help dyslexic and other struggling readers to learn to love to read. Winn lives and writes in Round Rock, Texas.
In addition to his latest picture book, Winn’s first nonfiction book, Raising a Child with Dyslexia: What Every Parent Needs to Know is forthcoming this fall. In October, Winn will be the keynote speaker at the Central Texas Dyslexia Conference.

This is a fantastic symbolic picture book helping kids with dyslexia understand they can still overcome their problems if they learn how they can cope with it. Colourful and adorable illustrations accompany this fantastic story. A must have for any child struggling with learning.
