I loved the illustrations in this title! I love that camels have become more popular lately. My little ones will enjoy story time with this title which also introduces a new sibling, something we like to have books to discuss!

This was a cute story about a little girl obsessed with her camel! She grows up with a stuffed camel then transitions to a real camel. She rides the camel incessantly until she realizes the camel is exhausted. She has to exercise restraint and only ride her camel sometimes to let it rest. A great lesson in this book about growing up and becoming responsible and more independent. And helping little kids learn to let go of their security objects. Beautiful illustrations and my boys especially loved the camel facts at the end!
