Been gardening for over 40 years and let me tell you, I learned so much information from this book (some new, some reminders) that I will have to have a copy for my private library. But my suggestion to you is borrow a copy first from your local library (if they don’t have one, ask them to purchase a copy). I’m certain that any serious gardener will want to own their own copy.
Information contained reminded me why my aloe plant didn’t make it as well as my prayer plant. I have over 15 potted plants but only 4 species. From this book I now see the value of having pots on a pebble tray as well as using cache pots, which I never heard of before. I downloaded the Light Meter app on my iPhone to help with detecting the types of light in various rooms in my home where the plants are located. There is so much more details included that made me so enthusiastic about owning this book.
I received an advanced reader copy from NetGalley in exchange for my volunteer review.
