School Days would be a great book for any young child that is nervous to begin school. I loved the utilization of real pictures. I think this is hugely helpful in helping a child make the transition to school. The day that was depicted is incredibly true for what school is like. It is clear that the author has had real-life school experiences, and therefore, she created a great nonfiction resource.
