Description
Going extinct isn't for everyone.
Sybil knows that there is something off about her next door neighbor, but she can't seem to get anyone to believe her. Everyone is so busy going about their days in the busy streets of New York City that they don't notice Bolivar. They don't notice his odd height, his tiny arms, or his long tail. No one but Sybil sees that Bolivar is a dinosaur.
When an unlikely parking ticket pulls Bolivar into an adventure from City Hall to New York’s Natural History Museum, he must finally make a choice: continue to live unnoticed, or let the city see who he really is.
School Library Journal says...
"Bolivar the dinosaur speaks to the introvert in all of us. That part deep down inside that encourages us to hide away from the world, keep to ourselves, and avoid any and all connections for fear of getting hurt. Dinosaurs may not be around anymore but Bolivars abound. Even little Bolivars who will pick up this book and instantly connect with someone just like them. So for the Bolivars and the Manhattan-lovers, the graphic novel enthusiasts and the parents just looking for a good bedtime story, Bolivar the book is the place to go. Dino-mite stuff."

Uh, excuse me? Are you busy? Oh, are you too busy to notice that you are busy?? When was the last time you checked on to who your neighbour is? What, never!?
You better find out. It could be that he (or it) is a dinosaur. Well, Sybil has a dinosaur for a neighbour, and no one's ever been free enough to notice it.
DINOSAUR!!!??😱😱
Don't worry though. He is harmless, and he doesn't bite.
Sean Rubin's illustrations will take you to the New York city, its buzzing streets, the downtown and lively marketplaces, and a neighbourhood where lives Bolivar- the dinosaur.
Its New York- the city that provided a hiding place to Clark Kent. If Superman can do it, then Bolivar too has to try his luck at anonymity.
Its said that everyone's busy in New York, busy enough not to notice anyone. So how can they notice a dinosaur that walks in their city?
This dinosaur keeps to himself and is just like any other New Yorker- he eats beef sandwich, goes to park, enjoys art, loves to read books, goes to the supermarket, takes the subway, and also goes downtown to listen to music. And, voila. No body notices that he is not a human being.
How could they. They are all very, very busy.
And what's funny is that the Natural History Museum is going to hold an exhibition that will discuss how dinosaurs became extinct. Little do they know that a live dinosaur is going to crash the exhibition.
Will the New Yorkers find out about the last living dinosaur? What will they do when they find out? What will the innocent Bolivar do if he is chased? Will he hide? Will he flee?
Well, get your hands on this book to find out. The paperback edition is to be out on 6th September. The hardcopy and the kindle edition is already out for access.
