This book is a gem.
Let me tell you why: I've been trying to convince my aunt, who is in 50-s and lives a very sedentary life, to try yoga for all the good it has to offer, i.e. fitness, better posture, clear head, endorphins. So when I tried to looked for a good book for a beginner like her, every single one was either leaded with complex poses she is definitely not able to do right now, had way too much text, had text and no pictures to describe a pose, or had pictures with young, sporty fitness gurus.
On the other hand, this little book is just what I needed to show my aunt that yoga is good, and that yoga is for everyone. There are so many simple, effective poses even a sedentary person can do - as well as some which need practice, which is motivating. In additions, the pictures used show a variety of bodies. It is wonderful. Period.
I'd highly recommend this book for someone who feels that yoga, or possibly any kind of exercise, is overwhelming and for 'other people'.
I only just wish it was longer, given its brief frame.

This book made me smile. I really loved the photos and the sequences in here. They are perfect for everyone and give variations to make it accessible to do anywhere you are. There are multiple people that I would recommend this book to and I think it will help them tremendously. Thank you to Netgalley and the Author for an early copy of this insightful book!
